(Felt like I needed a change and this was perfect! Still working on length so I won’t be dying it lighter anytime soon.)

So today’s self timer tripod photoshoot theme: Bangs & Bottles!

Happy to announce that the giant @popflex_active bottles are back! Here’s my 64 Oz! As you can see, it’s bigger than my head 😜 I drink 2 a day to reach a full gallon. I fill it with ice and 🍋 slices and it stays cold all day. I take it EVERYWHERE with me like it’s a fashion accessory. I mean truly though - this bottle makes a statement about how serious you are about your hydration. 💧

It’s generally recommended for you to drink about half your weight (lbs) in fluid ounces. But if that’s too much calculation, try drinking til your pee is lime juice colored. Everyone’s hydration needs are different based on activity level and also climate etc.

My skin is looking clearer these days thanks to the hydration but also maybe thanks to a new skincare routine I’m exploring. I’m not wearing ANY foundation or concealer in these pics and there’s no filter. I’m only wearing tubing mascara (the best for lengthening) and brow powder.

It’s interesting how people ask when you’re go

It’s interesting how people ask when you’re gonna have kids as if it’s actually in your control.

I have multiple friends who have dealt with devastating infertility issues and miscarriages, and honestly I did not know how common these things were until social media gave women an easier place to openly share their stories. My mom had a miscarriage, lots of trouble getting pregnant and had to use Chinese herbs to help her conceive.

So even though right now I’m struggling with the whole “do I want to be a mother” thing - who’s to say that if and when both @samlivits and I decide yes, that I actually can???

I’m in my 30s, I have no idea about the quality or quantity of my eggs, my mom had infertility issues, and to be completely honest with you, my menstrual cycles are also longer than the average woman and they are irregular (they have been since high school when I was training intensely for tennis).

I’m thinking of visiting a clinic to get a check up on my fertility status. The more information the better. I’m very curious. But also…if I’m gonna do it, I say, Sam has to do it too!

What’s been your experience with trying? (I have so much to learn!!!)

As you can see the new ButterSoft Compress fabric from @popflex_active doesn’t become more transparent the lower I get into my squat, which is a common issue with active bottoms, especially in lighter colors. But be aware that it CAN still happen in black.

I taught a class once in cheap Forever 21 black leggings (no undies) and let’s just say I’m lucky Sam was there that day because he gave me his hoodie to wrap around…😬😬😬 WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES I’VE WORN THAT LEGGING BEFORE AT THE GYM OMG.

Now of course don’t go around wearing thick lace panties in red with lighter colored leggings. Get yourself a seamless lasercut nude panty/thong or go totally commando which is what I usually do, plus it is way more comfortable! Try it!

Anyway I’m in love with these shots that @jackelynho took at the Tropicana shoot! Like howwww did my little sister become a literal fashion photog like it’s NBD. What. I still shoot using my iPhone pretty exclusively.

No seriously, I’m not THAT good. Literally DID NOT plan for Tropicana to drop 2 days after our honeymoon 🌴🛖🌺 but thanks to logistics being backed up and crazy uncertain this year, here we are and I couldn’t have asked for better timing!

I designed this @popflex_active collection based on how I feel about summer. It’s my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE season of the year! The ☀️ is out longer and that just makes me the happiest human period 😊 So I opted for bright, bold, and vibrant island inspired colors. Check the last slide to get a feel for how closely the palette matches actual paradise.

I hope you love the new collection! Be sure to read the fit details on the product page. This time we’re using ButterSoft Compress which has a similar hand feel to Marble but it’s more compressive/sculpting for high intensity activities. Oh and for those of you who prefer something a little less loud, I gotchu. Check the obsidian colored styles.

Morning exercise = swimming from our overwater bungalow to this tiny island, taking a pic, and then swimming back to lay out under the sun.

@samlivits had I haven’t taken a 2 week vacation purely for ourselves, ever. It’s always been work related, on the tail end of something else, or too short that by the time we finally got used to relaxing, it was time to fly back home.

What I’ve learned on this trip is that I’m not an “in moderation” type of person. At home, when I’m working, I work late into the night + weekends. On vacay, when I eat creme brûlée on day 1, I order creme brûlée days 2-14 just to make sure I’ve tried the best one. And now, I’m going to learn how to make it! 👩🏻‍🍳

See if I’m gonna do life like that, then I gotta plan my life like a HIIT workout. Go hard, rest hard. Except…I seem to not understand the “intervals” of rest part! Currently it’s more like an intense marathon with no finish line 😅

When you’re running a small business, you’re running. The momentum and the growth (if things are good) are addicting and I love the speed. I’m lucky though, because my business is my hobby and my hobby is my business. HOWEVER, I’m blinded by the fun I’m having. Like I said on my previous post, my body cannot physically keep up. It needs rest.

Also, the reality is - even though we spend all day together at work - that’s business Cassey and business Sam. It’s not wife Cassey and husband Sam. And when we focus more on work, we automatically focus less on our relationship.

This honeymoon has really helped us reconnect and find joy in the simple things - like sharing dessert with tea or laying out and looking up at the stars together.

So here’s a promise I would like to make to myself and to @samlivits.

I promise to schedule time for us. Whether that means daily tea and dessert or once a year epic snorkeling trips, I’m making it a priority and I’m putting it on the calendar. One day we’re not going to have time to explore this world and I don’t want to regret not experiencing it with you.
