A Blogilates Holiday!

A Blogilates Holiday!

Hey guys!

Hope you all had a lovely holiday and Christmas (if you celebrate that)! I ate so much that I passed out. Have you ever done that? It’s weird. It’s kinda like all the blood flows to your stomach to help with digestion and you just cannot think or function anymore. So, your only choice is to go to sleep.

This is the second time it has happened to me in my life. The first time, I think I was like 13, at my uncle’s house. They made my favorite: brown rice, asparagus, and tofu. I loved it so much that I literally stuffed myself. Hahaha. Then, I asked to go to bed. It was like 1pm.

This time it was a baked potato, some pork chop, green bean casserole, and pop overs…things I normally don’t eat. So I got super excited and ate a lot. I am embarrassed to say that I started falling asleep at the dinner table and asked to rest…at my sister’s boyfriend’s family’s house. I’ve only met them twice.

Hahaha. Guess I can’t handle eating a lot. I should just not try doing that anymore!! SO BAD!!!

Anyway, I hope you got all the prezzies you wanted! Look what my sister made me:

She wrote out Blogilates in nails and then threaded the whole thing together! OMG so sweet. I love it. I am going to hang it in the new office we’ve moving into hopefully next month! Thank you Jackelyn!

Also, have you guys tried our workout challenge workout yet!? So much fun. It’s a total body workout that’ll keep you laughing and crying. That’s how it always is when I hang with my sis! She’s my BFF!

Speaking of best friends, you guys have to check this out.

How awesome is it that POPster Sydney and her boyfriend lost weight together?! I cannot tell you what a difference it makes when you significant other or best friend works out with you and eats with you instead of cheering you on from the sidelines. I love that they got fitter and healthier together while also strengthening their relationship. This is just beyond awesome. Congrats Sydney and boyfriend! You guys make my heart melt!

Guess my family knows how it feels like to be more than full XD I never was told to stuff myself or eat up what’s left on my plate so I was always able to decide when I’m full and when I’m not hungry anymore. We have had fondue like every year for Christmas with chicken and turkey meat, chicken sausages, potatoe salad and a whole bunch of vegetable side dishes, bread and homemade sauce 🙂 I could eat tons of it, but my stomache says “Stop” and I listen.
Our tradition is to have dinner with my mums family on Holy Night and meet my fathers family side on 26th. Thanks to my body feeling weak and sore and my mind being tired non-stop since my bachelor exam last week, I didn’t make it to see my uncles, aunt and cousins. I was constantly falling asleep on my boyfriends couch. I even fell asleep during workout on my mat when I wanted to force myself up to do something.^^” I hope I get better soon and stop feeling this way. I even look awfully tired and ill…
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Cassey, thank you for making all these wonderful calenders for 2014. I will definitally continue to follow them in 2015 and I’m looking forward to all the things you’re going to share with us like your clothing line this year!
    Thank you 🙂

    Hi Cassey !

I never wrote you any comment but today is the day, I’ve been doing Pop pilates for one year and I have to say THANK YOU ! It has seriously changed my life.
I am a 29 year-old musician and one year ago I suffered a bad wrist injury : I couldn’t use my hand anymore, and at the same time I was losing my job, my passion… It was hard ! I found you while I was stuck at home and I couldn’t do much, and my physician had told me I should take care of my whole body, not just my wrist, which I had never properly done before. Though there were many moves I had to adapt to my condition, it was so fun at a moment where my life could have been so dull, that I kept following every calendar ever since !
I also started eating healthier to help my body function at its best, and incidentally lost 14 pounds (though I didn’t really felt fat back then, I definitely feel better now). I certainly feel stronger, healthier, happier than ever before, more balanced, more energetic throughout the day. But most of all, I learned to keep fighting, keep working to achieve my goal, and to celebrate my life even when everything is not quite right. And though doctors told me I would NEVER play the guitar again, 3 weeks ago, the magic happened : I CAN play the guitar again ! Though I am not cured yet, but it’s a work in progress :-))

“The moment you’re about to give up is where the magic happens” : it couldn’t be truer ! I wanted to give up sooooo many times. But I haven’t, I won’t, and I hope I will inspire people around me not to give up from now on !

Thank you so much Cassey !!!

    Emilie

  8. Eating until I can’t eat anymore is all too common with me! But you know what? I’m going to let myself indulge this holiday. Gotta fill myself up before I get back to college after winter break! After one semester of college, I’m still not used to the horrid dining hall food blehh. Anyways, that’s such a cute present that your sister made for you! Happy holidays! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

  9. I know that feeling of eating so much you’re uncomfortably full. That happens open at restaurants and even MORE so at buffets-this is the second time it’s ever happened to you, right? Have you eaten more today than at some buffets?

And gosh, I’m thinking of starting January with a Dietbet just to kick things off in the new year with a whole bang. It’ll be extra motivating to shed the excess weight!

  10. Desirae says:

Oh man! I bought that at full price just a few days ago! :-/ Wish I could have saved a few dollars!

  11. saleha says:
