Ice Cream Makers + New Lunge Challenge that will kill you

Hey guys!

So I went to Kohls yesterday and bought an ice cream maker and a new steamer!!! Super duper excited to come up with all sorts of healthy recipes for you guys! Thanks to everyone for helping me pick the teal color. I love it. And it was what my heart REALLY wanted. The white was the safe option.

These are the ones I bought:

I am so crazy excited to learn how to make ice cream and frozen yogurt!!! I am a HUGE Pinkberry, Yogurtland and Red Mango fan so I can’t wait to make a greek style one with tons of protein.

Oh and while we are at it, my necklace in the video is from Kawaii Culture. I love it so much! Look at these other awesome styles…

In other news…

So it turns out that Lolo Jones not only TWEETED about Blogilates, she even talked about it in her interview with Women’s Health Magazine! Click here to read it.

So today I filmed a Lolo Jones Lovely Legs Lunge Challenge to Legaci’s “When You Love Her.” I saw Legaci the other night with my BFF from college.

Funny story – Jay from Legaci – I met him at the airport when our United flight got canceled. He was in such a good mood in the 200 person customer service line and I found it peculiar so I asked him why. We then became quick friends. You can check out Legaci’s YouTube channel here. They are local Bay Area artists AND they toured with Justin Bieber! Crazy!

K well that’s all I have for you today!

<3 you – time to work out!!! Wee!!! Then lots of editing tonight.

Oooo! I have an ice cream maker very similar to that and love it! Only problem is that it doesn’t make enough! 😀 So, what’s really good? Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and sweetener (agave, xylitol, honey). So easy, so zangy, so good! Also try doing half yogurt, half coconut milk then sprinkle on some toasted coconut for garnish. Yum!

  3. I’m dying for an ice cream maker! It’s on my wish list 🙂

    Hi Cassey,

I’ve mostly come across coconut milk in cooking (Thai, Filipino, Indian, Indonesian etc) and it also makes a great hair mask. Wet hair first and then leave it in for 15-30mins in a shower cap (it can get a little messy), rinse out and you’re left with silky smooth hair!

    1. Natalie Tanner says:

Forgot to add that the mask is best done at night as it can leave hair a little greasy, so I wash my hair again as normal in the mornings to remove any further residue and it’s still soft.

I love that ice cream maker! Totally buying one for my dorm room!

I usually buy the unsweetened coconut milk to avoid the carbs and then put a packet of stevia in the glass if I drink it by itself. That brings out the creamy flavor and makes it a bit more coconutty without the sugar!

      thanks for the tip!!!

I’ve bought coconut milk from Whole Foods before & have found the regular flavor to be a bit bland.

I did like it though when I decided to add it to my morning oatmeal! I found that it was a lot creamier & tasty than regular milk.

Did you know that you can return any purchase to Trader Joe’s that you didn’t like?! Yup! Take the regular coconut milk back and trader it for the Vanilla one for FREE! I’m sure it’s super yummy!

I plan to plan an ice cream maker. Occasionally we made homemade ice cream when I was a kid. Can’t wait to try your recipes. I wish I could do polymer clay as well as Kawaii Culture. I made polymer clay candy cane Christmas ornaments. That’s as far as I have gotten with it. I will check the shop more when I have time.

I’m sticking with the August calendar. I surprised myself.

    Hi Cassey!

I love the colour of the ice cream maker. Did you know that you can make banana ice cream with only bananas? Try it out!

  14. I’ve seen ice cream makers before, but I’ve never seen a steamer like that! It looks very interesting, and I’m curious to hear what you think about it after you’ve tried it out a few times.
