Does this actually make your legs look slimmer? I’m really scared to do things like this incase it muscles them up and makes them look bigger. (I did that accidentally last year and I’ve only just lost all the muscle)

I found that when I used to get on an elliptical, I would get bored quickly and rarely pushed myself like I could. A friend told me about some killer elliptical workouts on iTunes. They basically have a top-notch trainer taking you through a HIIT routine for the elliptical. It’s great for weight loss and seriously kicks my butt every time, in just 20 minutes: http://bit.ly/EllipticalExpress_iTunes.

Can i use this to not only tone up my legs but to lose weight/belly fat as well? And what other beginner pilates moves do you recomend?

  4. Margo says:

Maybe a stupid question, but I’m from faraway Belgium and don’t really know what the ‘inc’ means on the printable?

    xo

    1. Arianne says:

I asked myself the same thing 😉 It means incline. But I think you can’t change the incline on all ellipticals, I can’t on mine!

    2. Beltzner says:

Inc= incline or how high your step is on the machine

This was awesome! I decided to try it today after I finished Day 6 of the Beginner’s Calendar so that I could start adding in some cardio. When I’ve gone to the gym previously I always had the resistance up much higher but no incline, and would go so that my heart rate was up around 190, so I thought the resistance looked low. But when I started going it was crazy how much the incline adds to it. Hitting that 20 resistance at 15 incline for five minutes ended up being way harder than I expected for out of shape me. It was great! Feels like I really got a good workout without pushing my heart rate up too high. This kept me in a good fat burning zone for heart rate and I could really feel my muscles working.

Thank you for all you do for us, Cassey! I’m really enjoying working out with you every morning!

  7. And nary a fine in sight. The list also does not encompass the full spectrum of publicly traded companies provided in the introduction, nor
does it give any insights into the future. What’s the key to everything–this is the one that sets the cash register to be answering these questions. 12. Monica says:

I can’t see this 🙁 is there an alternate link or something? This workout would be really useful to me..

  13. iamBlondie says:

    Hey Cassey!
I have to agree with other girls – the ellipticals in our gym do not have the changing of incline. Should we follow the resistance only? or what to do now?
Thanks for inspiring me to have a better and healthier life!

  19. I rarely leave a response, however i did a few searching
and wound up here Elegant Legs Elliptical Workout + More
Winners!. And I do have a couple of questions for you
if you tend not to mind. Could it be only me or does it give the impression like some of these comments look like coming from brain dead individuals?
😛 And, if you are writing on other places, I’d like to follow anything new you have to post. Would you list of every one of all your communal sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

    1. Veronica says:

Ok, so clearly you’ve never been on this site before. Let me clear some things up for you: 1. You can find all of Cassey’s information on the right hand side of the site between the news letter sign up and the work out calender. 2. We don’t call each other “brain dead individuals”. We are a POSITIVE online community, whom are there for each other for support and inspiration on our goal to better health. Please keep your negative comments to yourself.

      1. Shyanne says:

well said Veronica. I found that to be rather rude as well:)

  20. Katherine says:

I’m not sure if I could last that long on the elliptical! I usually do either 10 20, or 30 minutes. 45 will be a new record by itself. Usually its just my warmup.

  21. Leslie says:

Thank you soooooo much for putting up an elliptical workout! I can’t usually go on the treadmill because it aggravates my knees, but this will be great!

  22. Yas N. says:

Congratulations to the winners! I will need to try that workout. It sounds intense.

  23. Lauren says:

YAY! Thanks Cassey! cant wait to try this!

  24. Kayla says:

I think most ellipticals dont have incline…?

    1. Lara K says:

Yeah we have an elliptical and it doesn’t have anything to change the incline. Only the difficulty

    2. Lucia says:

Yeah, ellipticals at my gym do not have incline, I guess we just have to follow the resistance indication? But then, it might be not “hard” enough…

      1. Martyna says:

Don’t worry it will be hard enough, I’ve just done it and I’m dying… It so good:)

Thank you Cassey please post some more awsome gym workout like this one

  25. Hey Cassey!

I absolutely love your videos. I have stuck to every single day of JaNEWary so far, and I feel amazing.

I know you’re really interested in healthy food and finding those really healthy recipes that taste sinful. I found a blog http://www.healthyrevelations.wordpress.com that seems right up your alley if you want to check it out.

I love you keep doing what you do best 🙂

  26. julie says:

Can you do one for cycles at the gym!??!? Thank you sooooo much 🙂

  27. Amy says:

I am planning on trying this tonight at the gym! This morning I am doing the Calendar Cardio!!

  28. Jonna says:

PLEASE do such a workout for the bikes at the gym? I would really appreciate one!

    1. Amy says:

Would love to see a bike workout too!! I try to mix in all the machines for a variety in my cardio!

  29. Kristen says:

    Hey Cassey,

Can you make up something like this for a spin bike??? I love getting on my bike but could use a good routine!

    Kristen

  30. Sayaka says:

I am sooo going to try this!!!
    Thanks Cassey!

  31. Connie says:

How would I do this if the elliptical I use does not have incline? Would I just use do the resistances side?

    1. teilzeitDAU says:

I can’t change the inc on the ellipticals at my gym either, but i guess we’ll be fine by just kicking up the resistance a bit higher than it says – or/and go extra crazy quick w/ the strides 🙂

    2. Amy says:

I would just use the resistance level and pick up speed.
