Hey POPsters!!!! It is a lovely Wednesday morning here in Santa Monica! I just wrapped up a super fun shoot with Valerie Waters and Livestrongwoman yesterday at a super fab private residence here in the hills.
I am REALLY impressed with how much attention and care people are now giving YouTube. I mean, the time, effort, and money put into short less-than-10-min-videos on YouTube is phenomenal. When I film I just set up the tripod and go! If I mess up or say something, oh well, it’s still going up! Haha. Nothing an apologetic annotation can’t take care of :)
I had such a great time working out with Valerie Waters. She’s super cute and nice! She trains the Hollywood celebs (wow) and I really COULD NOT believe I was sliding around on the floor with her! We did an ab workout video using her Valslides (much like gliding discs but can be used on carpet) which will be featured on her YouTube show The A-List Look. Then we did a mini ab challenge for BlogilatesTV! I can’t wait to show all of the vids to you! I think you will like them very much. And they are filmed in movie quality style! Wowzers.
Afterwards I was super duper hungry so I met up with a friend for vegan food!!!! Duhhhh. I love eating vegan when I travel. Thanks to everyone on facebook for helping me pick a restaurant! I ended up going to Real Food Daily and it was awesome. I have 1 or 2 more meals today so I will def need to check out your other recommendations. We had the table upstairs and I thought it was extra fab because I could look down at the desserts and the smoothie bar.
We started out with the sea cake. It was my favorite dish of the night by far. Anyone know how to make this?

Dessert. We decided to indulge so we got 2. GASP!!! Warm Apple and Apricot Crisp.

I was sooooo tired after the day that I fell right asleep after the delicious vegan feast. Oh and the Vegan Challenge is DEFINITELY HAPPENING!!!!! My fellow YouTrain buddy and trainer of the show Shedding for the Wedding, Nicky Holender will be writing us a special Vegan meal plan and I am STOKKKEEDDDD. I cannot wait to take it on! I’d love for you to do it with me even if t is just for a few days or even 1 day! Just try it. It will be good for you to switch up your diet. We’ll prob start in a week or 2 weeks.
I am so sad to be leaving LA today but hopefully I’ll be back again soon to do more stuff with other YouTubers and the awesome crew at Livestrongwoman.
