QVC Recap!!!

QVC Recap!!!

Hey POPsters!

Thanks so much for your support on today’s QVC airing showing my fave noodles, Miracle Noodle – a zero calorie, zero carb, gluten free, vegan shirataki noodle! You can watch the whole segment here.

OMG I didn’t think I’d be nervous but right before the cameras turned on, my heart was beating out of my chest!!! It’s one thing to be making FOOD Bites videos for BlogilatesTV but it is a whole ‘nother thing to be doing it on national TV LIVE. I must say, major props and respect to my host Sharon for making me feel more comfortable! All in all, it was a great experience – let me share with you my photostory.

Arrived at QVC HQ. Greeted by pretty flowers and a huge Q. Nice.

I decided to wear a bright yellow dress I bought from Urban Outfitters and a big belt to cinch in my waist. My necklace and earrings are from Fossil and my shoes are from Report.

About 15 min before my airing, I got to see the prepared foods that the professional food stylists made. Wow, doesn’t this Miracle shrimp pad thai look amazing!!???

Black bean Miracle Mexican rice and Strawberry Miracle rice parfait!!! Mmmmmm…

Backstage I ran across a Kind Bar setup…

A fried pickles plate…

And a scrumptious cake display!

Then it was time. Time to get on. They mic’d me up, put a caller thingy in my ear so I could listen to calls if we had any, and then I got walked “on stage.” Oh the excitement!!!!

Here I am with Sharon on FOOD FEST. She’s eating the Miracle Chicken Alfredo! Looked so good. I def wanted some, but I had to keep cooking. Hahaha. The noodles were so long – she had a little trouble getting some into her mouth for a taste! Thank you to Kylie on Facebook for this pic!

It was really cool talking about a product that I’ve been eating and cooking with frequently – something I believe in and love. I hope I did ok! You can watch the whole segment here. (I just watched this for the first time and nearly pulled my hair out at some parts – ha!) There’s a funny 10+ sec where I have major issues getting the noodles onto the plate to serve Sharon and another part where she has to pull the noodles out of her mouth with her hand. LOL – oh well – at least nothing blew up right!!?? Everything looked so delicious and also tasted fantastic. Thank you to Regina on Facebook for this pic!

I also want to congratulate my friend, unofficial mentor, and owner of Miracle Noodle, Dr. Jonathan Carp for his product’s first debut on QVC. It is a dream for many business owners and entrepreneurs to get their goods on here and only a select handful ever get the chance. If you ever watch Shark Tank, you’d know that all the sharks ever talk about is how they can promise success and major growth through an appearance on QVC. I am so grateful that I got the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for these shirataki noodles with you guys and well, after yesterday, with America! Jonathan inspires me everyday to be a better entrepreneur I hope one day I can have my bags on here too!

After the whole 7 minutes of food frenzy, it was over. It was over so quick!!! I wanted to say so much more and I also wanted to eat much more…hahaha. Next time I guess??? The Miracle Noodle team and I had dinner and then I made sure to eat a REAL PHILLY CHEESESTEAK!!!!! Remember when I was here last time? I promised you I would eat a cheesesteak next time since I wouldn’t be on a vegan diet. So I did it! This is the one from Pat’s and it was made with onions and cheese whiz. Good, but not great. I like hoagies better I think.

I am leaving for SF tomorrow. This travel is killing me. Better get a little rest in before the trip. I will prob just sleep the whollleeee way. Next time, I think I will also take a day off to visit some of my friends on the East Coast like Bex and Sarah.

Love you guys! How do you think I did? Have you tried Miracle Noodles?

<3 Cassey

I am not certain the place you are getting your info, but good topic. I must spend a while finding out much more or working out more. Thanks for great info I used to be searching for this info for my mission.

I lived in Philadelphia for six months for school, and Pat’s doesn’t have the best cheesesteak. If you want the best cheesesteak go find a street car. I promise it’ll be the best thing you’ve ever tasted!

  3. Amber says:

Can you post recipes that were on QVC, or are those on QVC??

  4. Lisa says:

I’ve tried Shirataki noodles, which seem to be pretty much the same but about half the price. For noodle dishes I like the somewhat rubbery texture but am curious about the ‘rice’, is it the same texture as the noodles? I feel like it might be off-putting, though I’m curious about what you think since you’ve tried a range of the products.

    1. blogilates says:

Yes it’s the same texture as the shiritaki noodles just diff shape!

  5. Kelly says:

Pat’s is a tourist trap and definitely not the best cheesesteak in Philly. Next time you are in the area, find a local to show you where to go!

    1. Sophie says:

I’d say food carts are the best!

  6. What an awesome product! I go on & off vegan dieting when I can motivate myself to eat healthy so I will definitely be giving these a try!! You look beautiful! Love the yellow dress- my fave color to wear!

Hi Cassey! I was wondering if you could do a video on hip strengthening exercises? I have really weak hips, and its affecting my knees when I’m running and doing squats etc. I love, love, love your videos btw!!

I thought it was sooo funny when that host woman took a bite of the noodles that were sticking together and had to use her hand to get the excess from dangling from her mouth and the camera men just focused right on her. She looked uncomfortable for that part. But you did a really awesome job. I felt like she kind of interrupted you a little bit when you were talking, but it was very good. You didn’t seem nervous at all, and you looked and sounded very nice.

Hey, I have that belt! (Or one exactly like it!) Is it a little stretchy and the three buttons snap on? 😀

Also, don’t worry at all! You did great. It’s easy to be super-critical of yourself – I always am – but as someone seeing it from the outside, it was perfectly fine. 🙂

Are there going to be recipes for the different foods that were shown on air? Particularly that picture of the Miracle Noodles’ Strawberry Rice Parfait… and what you were cooking, with the avocado sauce? I tried looking on the QVC website, but it seems they only have the shrimp recipe up. Thanks!

Also, all of the segments leading up to yours made my mouth water… haha. I don’t even like hotdogs, etc., but they made everything look so delicious (one of the reasons I don’t watch QVC… I’d be tempted to buy everything).

I’ve used Miracle Noodles… but after watching that segment, I’m really tempted to try and make chicken fettuccine with it… I haven’t had white sauce in forever; it sounds like a good indulgence, without going overboard.

    1. Anna Marie says:

*I double checked… and the recipes they have available are: Miracle Noodles with Green Beans, Edamame & Pork, Healthy Chicken Chow Mein and Miracle Fried Rice… not the shrimp one, as I mistakenly recalled from searching for the parfait and avocado edamame stir fry yesterday.

      1. blogilates says:

The avocado sauce one is in my recipe index and the parfait is on the miraclenoodle.com website!

  11. Kylie says:

wow cassey! it looks like you had so much fun. I’m so happy for all your new success(even though you hate traveling hehe) and I’m so thankful for all the inspiration you have given me. 🙂 I watch your videos religiously and your positivity gets me through them so quickly!

Can’t wait for more of your videos <3

p.s. so they dont sell this miracle noodle in grocery stores? ):

    1. blogilates says:

Some Whole Foods have them, but you can also find shiritaki noodles at asian stores.

  13. Megan says:

Does anyone know where I can buy these noodles? I haven’t been able to find them at the grocery store…should I have just bought them from QVC? haha
    Thanks!

    1. blogilates says:

You can still buy them at qvc! Or miraclenoodle.com!

  14. Are miracle noodles the same/different than Shirataki noodles? Would you recommend one over the other and why? Thanks! And nice work on the video!

    1. I guess I should clarify . . . compared to the House Foods Tofu Shirataki noodles. 🙂

      1. Anna Marie says:

I’ve tried both (and a Japanese brand of Shirataki noodles… which taste more like Miracle Noodles). The texture is a bit different, and the House Foods have a little more calories (but, I don’t think that small of an amount of calories makes much of a difference)… The House Foods ones feel more substantial/pasta-like. The regular Shirataki/Miracle Noodles, to me, have a bit more of a “rubbery” texture, which works well for any recipes that call for glass noodles. I particularly love Miracle Noodles’ rice… it feels sort of like boba/tapioca.

  15. Cassie says:

I love the dress you wore. Great outfit choice!

    1. Diana Arroyo says:

My son Benjamin is autistic and only eat pasta so I tried miracle noodles and he knew in like 3 seconds that I was tricking him. I thought they were tasty and prefer them over regular pasta. As for Benjamin I think we will stick to wheat pasta.. 🙂 great job on qvc I think you were great.
