Hard Work. It pays off. My Bikini Diet & Workout.

Hard Work. It pays off. My Bikini Diet & Workout.

First of all, sorry my room is messy, yes I know. This morning I was trying out my new MAC makeup. It was actually pretty fun! I didn’t go too dark because I still had to workout later and didn’t wanna look like a freak at the gym.

Anyway, I decided to do a little modeling practice. My trainer Kip actually put it in my master plan that I need to practice modeling for at least 30 minutes a day! What a life huh!? I also read in Oxygen Magazine that competitors should wear their heels everywhere in the house as much as possible…doing laundry, cooking food, whatever – just to get used to it. I feel like my walk is not very fluid. I need WAYYYY more sass! I feel like I am still trying to balance on my 5″ heels – like I don’t OWN them yet. Oh well, 16 more days to go til May 5th. I’m sure it’ll get better.

So yeah, above is a picture I took this morning in my Body Language shorts and Lulu bra. When I looked in the mirror, I was stunned to see these lines coming out! Like what!!???? I was actually astonished at the progress. And that’s not even where I’ll be in 16 days. Big changes will still be happening. Kip says that thanks to my years of doing Pilates my ab lines are long like that. If I had been doing tons of heavy, weighted ab work the first lines showing may have been a 6 pack. I mean, the leaner I get, the more you’ll be able to see the 6 pack anyway, but I am very happy to see these lines first. I LOVE PILATES!!!!

After posting this pic on Facebook, I got soooo many positive comments from you guys. I want to thank you so much for being MY INSPIRATION and my MOTIVATOR. Your belief in me makes me want to work even harder! Obviously I know what you’re thinking now. “Cassey, can you share with us your workout and your diet?”

Of course POPsters!

I aint hiding nothin’ from you. Durr. And it’s not anything I haven’t told you before. You just gotta live, love it, breathe it, and take it seriously.

CASSEY’S SAMPLE BIKINI DIET:

Morning: protein pancakes or an egg white veggie omelet with soy sauce/sriracha or salsa. Gummy vitamins.

Mid-morning snack: protein shake (I really like met-rx vanilla from Trader Joes or MAXPRO cinnamon roll from Max Muscle…mmmm)

Lunch: Catfish/tilapia/or some type of white fish and lettuce. I am not really using any dressing right now. I kind of like my soy sauce and sriracha mix on top of it. I know, weird.

Afternoon snack: a couple boiled eggs, with yolk

Dinner: chicken breast, green beans, and Miracle Noodle Zero Calorie Noodles (Yea that’s right. they’re noodles with ZERO calories.)

Post dinner snack: protein pancakes if I am feeling sweet or some type of lean protein and veggie

Diet Questions:

Do you eat fruit or nuts? If I do, it’s in the morning and if I feel like my carbs are too low/I am lacking energy. I’ll have an occasional frozen mango chunk and some almonds. I have a sweet tooth unfortunately! Good thing this is only for contest prep!!

How do you feel? So far, I am feeling good. This is SUPER DUPER clean eating. I am full and my metabolism is so crazy because I am eating every 2-3 hrs. Sometimes I’ll crave things like peanut butter and fruit, but I have been ok. I’ll cheat a mini bit if I am dying, but not crazy binge so that it’d offset my hard work.

How much water are you drinking? 1 gallon a day.

CASSEY’S SAMPLE BIKINI WORKOUT:

Mon: Back, Bi, Abs + Cardio

Tues: Drills, HIITs

Wed: Chest, Shoulders, Tri’s + Cardio

Thurs: Drills, HIITs

Fri: Legs & Butt + Cardio

Sat: Drills, HIITS

Sun: Rest day

Workout Questions:

How long do you go? I usually do weights for about an hour and then cardio for 30-45 min. If it’s HIITs and drills about an hr as well. I might weight train my fave body part of the moment for about 30 extra min on those days. So in my case, it’s butt and legs! Sometimes I’ll do double days and go back to the gym and hit some extra cardio for about 30-45 min if I have energy. Treadmill, elliptcal or precor. And yes, I still teach my 5 classes throughout the week.

How do you get all that energy? Good food. Hydration. Self motivation. Desire to succeed driven by the results I see.

How do you have time? Uhhh, I guess I am a little on the lucky side here…I am a blogger and Youtuber so my schedule isn’t too rigid. And yes it is RIDIC that I am in the gym for over 3 hours a day sometimes. Depends on where you are and where you need to be. I didn’t start SERIOUSLY training for this until about about 1 and a half months ago but 1 week of that was my week in LA and New York and I TOTALLYYYYY binged on Pita Chips, nuts, street food (love the Halal cart stuff in NYC OMG)…yeah it was so bad…but so good!

How much weight have you lost? Since March 10, I’ve lost 10 pounds. I know. I can’t believe it either. I owe it to Kip for pushing my a** to the limit EVERY TIME.

OTHER THINGS I NEED TO DO…

– Figure out how to tan myself for the competition. I need to be super dark!

– Practice my makeup application.

– Get someone to do my hair. I want it to look like this. Do you think I need extensions to get that volume?

– Practice getting comfy in my model walk.

– Get Aubrie and Danny J’s (The Sweaty Betties) rooms ready at the house…they are visiting me for my first bikini competition! I can’t wait to pick them up at the airport and meet them in real life!

All that and continue to PUSH HARD! The whole journey so far has been MORE than rewarding. I’ve meet so many cool people along the way. Good people. Also, seeing hard work paying off daily pumps me up more than anything. Whether it’s with my body, my work, my business, whatever. Seeing progress is ULTIMATE SATISFACTION! Don’t you agree?

Anyway, it’s like 2am and I leave for LA in like 5 hrs and I haven’t even packed yet. I am soooooo bad. At least all I need to do pack is my food and my workout clothes/shoes.

I already put these in cute ziplock baggies. Protein pancake recipe here.

Maybe a swimsuit to go tanning a bit. It’ll be a quick trip. I cannot wait to meet all of y’all at the POP Pilates LA Meetup!!!!! Over 200 of you got tickets. Umm, I wonder if you all will actually show up? Either way it will be nuts!!!!!  There are still some left, go here to print your tix. Make sure to show your ticket on your iPhone or print out the ticket and bring it with you.

YOU ARE PERFECT :-* I very like your workouts – your body is my motivation 🙂
I am from Czech republic and i really love you !

  2. Megan says:

This is a really late comment, but I think your hair is a good length and extensions probably aren’t needed, you could try curling it next time you want the definition, and use volume hairspray, that helps a lot. Also, ask you hair stylist to ‘texture’ your hair, its when they cut small pieces from the top so it lifts more to add volume.
    You look great!

  3. Lynelle says:

You look amazing! I want to look like you in probably 5 years! Hehe. 🙂 What’s your personal exercise routine?

  4. tintintine says:

you are good looking and feminine even though you work out like Crazy. I grew up doing gymnastics and cannot for the life of me get rid of my 6pack lines to get a more feminine physique. major jelly. 😛

Hi Cassey! I know you’re no longer preparing for his, but can you let me know how many ounces of chicken/fish you were eating at each meal?

  10. Anon says:

Girl, for the amount of calories you are burning living, you are not eating enough calories. I went through something like what you are doing now and ended up with massive heart problems. Being thin isn’t worth it. Just trust me on this one. I am glad to see you are eating healthy foods, you just need a lot more of them to sustain your active lifestyle, and keep a healthy heart.

  11. Jess says:

    Those pancakes looks interesting…
I’m going to try that with my herbalife protein ahaha

I love how your body looks like, you’re a true fighter!

You should dye your hair with some crazy colors, to match your clothes haha <3

  12. aa says:

Wow, I sure am will pretty hungry on that diet but I will try :L

  13. Meredith says:

How long did it take to start seeing results

  14. Donna says:

Hi Cassey! I absolutely LOVE how even more gorgeous you have become. It would be super awesome if you could post your entire meal plan and also your complete workout. I know it can be tedious, so if you can’t, it’s totally fine! I’m glad you provided a sample that I can follow! You inspire me so much and now I have my own visual poster to reach my goal. Thank you so much! <3

  15. Meg says:

    Hi Cassie!
I find it really hard to eat healthy without a kitchen. I’ve gained almost 10 pounds eating supposedly healthy foods from the dorm cafeteria! Not to mention I’m a vegetarian. Back when I was home either my mom or myself would cook meals that were healthy, had enough protein, nutrients, all that stuff. Here I feel like even a veggie sandwich is adding weight! And I run/bike every day! I just increased my workout load this week to an 8 mile bike ride with 3 of your videos throughout the day. What are some tips to eating healthier, aside from keeping good healthy snacks, when you have to live off a meal plan and salads get hard to spice up after each meal?
I’m trying to get a body like yours before I see my boyfriend for the first time in five months!
    Good luck in your competition!

  16. K says:

Hi Cassey! I have a question. Why are you not eating fruits? Is it a bad thing?

    1. Cailyn says:

Fruit has Carbs. By cutting out a lot of carbs you burn fat crazy quick!

  17. emmad says:

wow i would love a body like yours ive been doing lately running 8-12k twice a week swimming once a week for an hour to hour half horse riding moderatley twice a week about 30mins and hard once a week 45-1hr, gym once a week where i do 45-1hr cardio and weights and abs 20-30 mins thats when im at home, at university (college) i go to the gym 4-5x a week and do 1hr mixed treadmill and cross trainer (epillpitcal?) 2-3 x week then weights and abs then 30-40mins cardio with 30mins weights once a week sometimes or do cardio then a class (pilates or body conditioning), i have gained more muscle but fat and finding it hard to loose weight even thought i dont eat large amounts. i want to really tone up but have had to stop doing lunge/burpee anything like that type of thing due to knee problems caused by overdeveloped adductors (which look gross) , i feel like a do quite a bit of exercise but still not seeing much results. i dont have access to weights at home as cant afford a full gym membership. not sure what to do its really getting on my nerves, im pear shaped too (hip and love handle area) am i doing too much cardio and not enough toning exercises?? i dont eat unhealthly but not super healthy, im trying to drink more water as i can be bad and not drink much which has helped my skin already but i find im a little tired and very hungry after doing my 1hr cardio at gym i dont have the energy to do lots of weight training but cant do to much HIIT due to my knees also not sure if what i do is considered as enough exercise or not ah sorry for the long message but i love your videos and try to do them when im not constantly studying haha thankyou :).

  18. Bethany says:

    Hey Cassie!
Just wanted to say love you, your inspiration, your videos and that body…..WOW you look absolutely stunning!!
I do have a question about the protein shakes in your bikini challenges, last year you used the Super Advanced Whey Protein, but this time on your blog you said you used Met-Rx or Maxpro. What would you suggest and is there really any difference? I’m not looking to be doing a bunch of body building, just lots of cardio, toning and getting a bikini bod.
Again you’re doing great, keep up the awesome work!
    Bethany

  19. sades says:

Wow you look awesome!! I want those abss!! Lol. Do you take any suplements other then protein powders? Like fat burners, or bcaas. I have been reading about them on bb.com but I always worry about the safety of those kind of products. Thanks 🙂

  20. danielle says:

    Hi Cassey!
First of all WOW! you look awesome! congrats on getting the body you’ve dreamed of! i wish i had even half of your motivation! i just have a question on your workout regimen, what do you do for drills and HIITS? i do HIIT training on the treadmill and elliptical but i was just wondering what the drills part is?
good luck in your competition, you’ll do great! you’re an inspiration to all of your followers and you push me to reach for my dream of finally having a bikini bod!

  21. kayla says:

For your hair to be the volumized learn how to tease your hair, and if you blowdry your hair use a roundbrush, and that’ll give you the volume you want. The pictures curls were around a 1 to 2 inch curling iron curling the hair away from your face.

my question is, for eating clean. I am good at eating healthy but im bad at making meals out of healthy foods. example i will eat lots of fruit and salads but when it comes to protein idk how to make it an actual meal. i just eat the food by themselves. Could you help me come up with a meal plan that i can use? i have a 30, 60, 90 goal. i want to eat clean for 30 days, take a pic of effects, and same for 60 days, and 90 days. while working out of course. Any help you could give me would be amazing! (:

  22. Tara says:

Cassie, I just have to say how amazed I am at your physique. You look freaking amazing, I can’t get over it. I don’t want to say perfect because that’s so subjective, but if there is perfect, you’re there. Honestly I think a lot of the girls that are into this stuff look a little bit bulkly or like their proportions just aren’t right, but you don’t look like that at all. You look exactly like a woman should look.

This is kind of like inspiration for me. Over the past few months I’ve been considering getting into fitness modeling too. I have a long way to go though. Not that I’m fat, my body fat is around like 14 or 15%, but fitness models average from 8 to 12%. My progress is there but it’s sooo slow. I just have to really commit myself, and I think seeing this pic might be just what I need. This is so going up on my vision board. I hope you win because you definitely should!

    Tara

    1. blogilates says:

figure competitors are usually around 10% and bikini girls are more like 14/15% so you’re there! i am actually higher than this so it just is a matter of how your fat is distributed and how you want to look. you may look better at a higher percentage! good luck! i’d love to see your modeling pics!

  23. Karla says:

Hey Cassie! I was wondering if you could make a playlist of workouts you would do during the list from your own pilates videos for an entire week. Like the workouts you would do mon, etc

  24. Runner Girl says:

Hey Cassey! so I noticed in one of the photos in your previous post is a girl i recognize from those body building competitions, her name is Wendy Fortino and she posted on her Facebook about a place to get tanned:
Ladies and gentlemen competing at the
NPC/IFBB California State Championships on May 26th…

Be sure to book your competition tan with Trae Kidd today!
    email: trae@liquidsunrayz.com
    phone: (615) 720-6979

    Book immediately, space is limited!
Trae is the official tanner of NPC USA Overall Champions, Wendy Fortino and Steve Kuclo!

Liquid Sun Rayz, The WINNING tan!!!

I don’t know if this helps any but I thought you might be interested in the information :o) GOOD LUCK! and just thought you should know you are such an inspiration to me! :o)

    1. blogilates says:

      oh thank u so much!!!

  25. HJ says:

Just curious Cassey, but what are your measurements?

  26. Helen says:

You look AMAZING, such an inspiration girl! Your quads look fantastically toned, hot 😉 And as for tanning, try out St Tropez Self Tanning Mousse, it is hands down the best self tanner, and it will get you dark with 2-3 applications. Dark dark, but never ever orange. Get the mitt for application ease, they have a bundle for both the mousse and mitt on amazon that’s a little cheaper than from the St Tropez website. Seriously, check it out, it works wonders.

  27. seejanesweat says:

No! No! No! You don’t need extensions. You’ve got great hair. You also look fabulous. Great job Casey!!!

  28. Jessica says:

I am sooo jelly! You are beautiful! Everyone always says that bodybuilders look gross, uhhh no they dont! You will put everyone else to shame 🙂 Good luck!

  29. Kati Jo says:

Cassey!!! I waited way too late to buy the Train Insane shirt and now I can’t find it! 🙁 Any way it will be back??? please please please 🙂

    1. blogilates says:

yes it will be! just wait! a couple weeks.

  30. CourtStar says:

Hey! You look AMAZING! Good luck on your comp! All that hard work WILL pay off! BTW: To get a great tan look for a mobile spray tanner! A lot of them specialize in fitness competitions if you let me know what area you live in I can recommend you to someone who can talk to you more about it. I do it, but I am out in Cabo, Mexico so I am of no help to you but do have an extensive network of girls who are amazing who can help you out! Let me know!

  31. Elaine Voon says:

Wow! How much did you spend on the MAC makeup and tools? I wish I could spend that much on anything! You are trully blessed and an inspiration to us all!

I’ve just started my new online business, check it out here http://eowynincross-stitch.blogspot.com/

I sell completed cross-stitch pieces without framing. It will drive the costs way up if I frame them as well.

Anyway, I think you’re AMAZING, Cassey! How can you do so many reps of your tough exercises and STILL smile?! No wonder you have such an amazing, slim, toned body!

I only hope that I can get such a body as you’ve posted today further down the line! But I’m a dialysis patient, so I guess I have some limitations, but I’ll do my best!

Btw, do you have to build muscle too? Because I think you look perfect already just the way you are now!

Please continue blogging and filming your awesome workout videos!

    Hugs,
    Elaine

  32. Rebecca Kelly says:

You look great 😀 as for the hair does your hair hold curls? Like if you use a curling tong then does it hold and last? if so then you should be able to get the volume with backcombing the roots (possibly with a teasing brush? then gently brushing the top to smooth) and using smaller sections and a smaller diameter of curling iron (and do all of the prep as another commenter suggested 🙂 )

But if not then trying methods like ‘sock bun curls’ or ‘paper bag curls’ or ‘bantu knots’ where the hair is being dried and set into a curl (look on you tube for vidoes on those or google) might work better with asian hair. You could also try curling the hair with either a little dry shampoo sprayed into it or leaving it to get ‘dirty’ for couple days after shampooing it and experimenting with different techniques until you find one that works.

Hope this helps good luck in the competition and figuring out the hair and trying using you tube for the eye make there are tonnes of tutorials as well 🙂

  33. Sari says:

You look so awesome~!!! I can’t believe how much motivation you have.. I wish I did..
I’ve only recently been reading your blog.. but you are such an inspiration to me..
I just hope I can have as much motivation as you to workout and eat healthy starting tomorrow.
I really need to lose weight and get out of this negative body image problem I’ve had since forever ago….T_T
    I really love yoU~!!! I think I might have a lesbo crush.. if I was a lesbian lol hahaha…

  34. Sarah says:

Amazing results Cassey! What sort of cardio do you do?

  35. Holly says:

Looking good, start cutting hard and it will be amazing

  36. Morgan says:

I want your stomach! You look fantastic! Good work Cassey. I wish I had your determination 🙂 Good luck with your competition.

  37. Krystle says:

Wow Cassey! That is so inspiring! Thank you so much for keeping us updated and good luck with your competition!
I was wondering, how does a typical day look for working out and eating? For example:
    Wake up @ 8AM
    Breakfast @ 8:30
    Workout @ 9
    Morning Snack @11
    Etc.

I’m having a hard time spacing everything out. A little advice would be helpful 🙂
    Thanks Cassey!

  38. Maddy says:

hey girl you bod is ridiculous. Could I borrow it for my high school graduation ;)? Kidding..but no i really want your abs 🙂 I am already in shape just need that six pack to pop out. I plan on starting your Pilates videos soon every Sunday, my rest days. Can you give a girl a little help with her very budgeted and modernized diet? Much love, luck and good wishes to my fellow fitness blogger and enthusiast.

    You’re my inspiration.

  39. Nabeeha says:

Wow Cassey! You look fantastic. Kudos and good luck 🙂

  40. Maddy says:

girl your so amazing I really want your bod for my high school graduation. I’m not fat but I want your definition!! Starting your pilates workouts on Sunday and I’m thoroughly excited 🙂 need a quickie meal plan suggestion for making my abs pop 🙂 <3 much love fellow fitness Blogger 🙂

  41. I’m so proud of you Cassey!!! You are such a huge inspiration. When I saw your abs in that pic my mouth dropped and I stared in awe for like 2 minutes haha. I am having such trouble eating right because I live with my dad and I don’t have much control over what foods are in the house 🙁 Anyway, I’m commenting because you said you need to get super tan for your competition and I’m suggesting Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer. I have been using it for a year or 2 and it works amazingly without the harmful effects of UV rays. It takes a few days for the color to show on your skin but once it does, it looks so natural and healthy! Just remember to wash your hands after you apply the lotion or your hands will be brown haha. Good luck!

  42. Linda says:

    OMGOSH you look AMAZING!
GIIIRRRRLLL you better win that thing. You look smokin’ hot and super duper fit.

  43. Harris W says:

don’t use a tanning bed!! Spray tan or tanning lotions are the only safe options. Skin cancer is serious, so be careful!

  44. Sue says:

You look amazing! You are my inspiration. ^^

  45. Vicki says:

omg! you look SO good. I’ve been looking into adding protein powder to my diet but im scared that it’ll make me bulk up or gain weight? Is this just a myth because obviously you add it to SO many things that you eat. Exercise wise, I do cardio almost everyday with a one or two of your pilates videos so nothing super extreme and i eat clean but i still dont feel like im seeing results. What are the benefits of adding protein powder to a clean diet??

    1. blogilates says:

it helps you build muscle! but you need to not just ADD protein powder but make sure that it replaces other parts of your diet. do u know what i mean? your cal count still needs to be within range.

  46. Alejandra says:

Hey Cassie!!! …first of all CONGRATULATIONS!! you look amazing and everytime i read something you posted makes me feel really inspire … anyway, i want to ask something .. i have been doing a research about the pop corn .. and i found it out that is really good because has a lot of fiber and antioxidants..and i read that if you cook it only with vegetarian oil and a lil of salt you can like a cup and will be only 31 cals .. do you think that would be a good snack?

ps: sorry for my bad english.:)

    1. blogilates says:

yes popcorn is a great light snack! just don’t put butter or crazy amts of salt on it.

  47. Amy says:

you look awesome!! makes me wanna do a bikini comp!!

  48. April says:

Good luck! I have a friend on WordPress who has been in a bikini competition before and she’s training right now and sharing her experiences on her blog. I’m sure she’ll be more than happy to help you out with the tanning, swimsuit, etc 🙂

    Here’s her blog: http://iknowsquat.wordpress.com/

    1. blogilates says:

      thanks for the tip!

  49. Sarah says:

I’ve been doing your ab pop pilates videos (which are KILLER!). I notice that the fat layer on my tummy is diminishing, but my abs stick out. They aren’t the type of abs like yours that are “in” and long and lean. I honestly would rather have a flabby stomach than have one of those monster abs that stick out! Lol. Do you have any tips to prevent this? Or am I naturally meant to have monster sticking-out abs?

    1. Carrie says:

I think Cassey would say to watch how you are breathing – suck your belly in toward your spine when doing abs. However … I think there is more to it than just that (although it certainly helps). I also have abs that stick out as opposed to being long like Cassey’s. I have a few hypotheses for this:

      1) I did gymnastics and track for over 12 years, so I am guessing the type of activity you have done for a long time will have A BIG effect on how your abs look. Cassey has been doing pilates for several years, which gives you long abs, whereas other activities/sports tend to do the opposite. Just look at gymnasts v. tennis players …

      2) I have a short torso. I have no idea if this has been scientifically proven, but I swear that people with short torsos tend to have abs that stick out more so than people with long torsos (like Cassey). It kind of makes sense if you think about the movements involved in ab work.

      3) Clean diet. I have noticed that when I am eating really clean, they stick out a bit less, but are still very defined and not “long” per say. However, I am not a bad eater by any means on a normal basis, so I think it is more a combination of all three of these factors (plus maybe some breathing).

      I don’t know, just my ramblings 😉

      1. Sarah says:

        Thank you Carrie!

  50. Sarah says:

WOW CASSEY, YOU HAVE SOME SEXY ASS ABS!!!! ANDa HOT BOD!!!!! (Sorry for the language, haha)

  51. You are so inspiring and motivational!! I already said that before but really! And thkse lines, you have such an amazing body! I was so motivated to work harder especially after I read what you said in a post before about never seeing your body transform like this before. I thought that as well, but by reading your updates and also seeing your changes, it’s pushing me to try harder as well. Thanks Cassey!

  52. Jenna says:

Thank you so much f0r sharing your journey with us! You look fabulous (you looked fabulous before too, fyi :). Ugh the exercise part has never been hard for me. I’m super dedicated to working out and love the way it makes me feel (I also love the “sore” factor you feel the next day!) but I find diet SO SO SO hard. Especially when I am surrounded by family members and friends who try to push “unclean” foods on me. I never want to be rude so I usually give in just to make them quiet but then I get angry at myself for letting others tell me what to do instead of listening to my own body, my own needs and my personal goals. I just need to get tougher! Thanks again for sharing your journey with us! Go rock that super hot body 🙂

    1. blogilates says:

it’s your body!!! it’s sacred. DO NOT let them harm your body with bad food! DO NOT feel like u have to be “polite” or “respectful”.

Don’t do your own tan! Lot’s of competitions coordinate with Aglow Tanning (look them up on Facebook) and they do the tans perfectly! I’m sure there has to be another option than you doing it.

  54. Jenni Cole says:

You look great Cassey! Love the ab lines … I have the same starting to pop up – intersting to hear they are from pilates 🙂

    Love it! and love you!

  55. erin says:

do spray tanning – i’ve done it a few times and it looks good. and it’s safer!

  56. Kelli says:

GOOD LUCK!!!! You look AWESOME!!! I am jealous, but I too am working my butt off to look like that. I read your diet and I am glad to see I am somewhat following that. I was just thinking of hitting up my gym twice a day too but thought that would be pushing it. But I guess if you have the drive, energy, and your not too sore, you can hit the gym up one more time a day to put in an extra cardio workout. I also do 45 minutes of treadmill, then 20 minutes of elliptical. Usually 3x’s a week add in weights after that, then do some cycling or swimming. I found that swimming is a quick way to see results too. If you doggie paddle laps in the pool then back stroke for about 20 minutes, you are getting a FULL BODY workout, and man does it feel amazing!!! Of course after all that hard core cardio it is time for my final stretch and I always stretch with your vid’s =) LOVE YA!

Cassey you look amazing!!! I wish I had that bod! I guess I need to step it up! I wish you the best of luck in the competition!!!!

  58. Mahima says:

    Hi Cassey!!

    You look AMAZING!!

In the meal plan, what can I substitute the chicken breast, fish and boiled eggs for as I am vegan and I want try my hand at this plan to test my willpower and how far I can get! And how much of the substitutions???

Also, does this mean that people who haven’t been doing Pilates for too long might end up with a proper six pack? Anything goes, but I really love those long lines down the middle!

    Thank you!!!

  59. Katie @ Katie Moves says:

Cassey you look gorgeous! You should be very proud of your progress and you still have time til May 5th 🙂 well done

  60. Diana says:

So proud of you, Cassey! You’ve actually inspired me to get my lazy ass into bikini shape. I don’t necessarilly want to lose weight, but I really need to tone up and get healthier. It’s almost winter here but I’m not going to use that as an excuse. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and inspiring us to look and feel better about ourselves. I hope you feel all the love and support that I’m sending you from my part of the world (South Africa). Good luck and don’t forget to WORK IT!!

  61. Susan says:

Good Luck Cassey! My husband is training for his first bodybuilding show in June-and let me tell you it is tough! I give all of you a lot of credit and praise for the will power, determination and time that you put into this! You will feel so amazing when it is all said and done and you get up on that stage! Wish you nothing but the best! Can’t wait to hear how it goes for you! 🙂

  63. maedchen says:

Wow, you look absolutely great! Love that lines 😉
After doing Yoga two years ago I wanted to go on with Pilates but my husband to be (is that right?) an I bought an old house and since June last year we´re renovating it completely. Thats also a sort of workout^^ but not really healthy.
So I started to do some of your workouts and I like it really. U are a great motivator 🙂 Thanks for that.
    Good Luck for your competition!!!

    Greeting from Germany

you look so amazing cassey! major inspiration and motivation right here =)

for the tanning, you could mix a little self tanner with sunscreen. it’ll get you darker gradually but it could take time. for a faster route to getting dark, you could do a spray tan. some places are really great and airbrush it onto your skin.

good luck in the competition and have fun!

  65. Sandra says:

do you have to do the tanning? it always looks soooo ridiculous! can’t you do it more naturally?

  66. Danielle says:

Don’t do extensions you can prep that volume into hair (and it will last better than filling it with extensions) . Wash hair, half dry hair, add mousse (given your Asian hair use a strong hold not volumising it won’t be strong enough) add thermal protector at this stage too, dry it all in with your head upside down, section (about 6) and plait, leave overnight, take it out and brush it then using about a 1 inch hot tong curl sections (inch square at base) in towards the centre of your head/away from the face, spray lightly with a flexible hairspray (i love white sands), let it all cool and rake some gloss through with your fingers to break up the curls. This is done similar http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=351725378202382&set=a.305561292818791.65658.222364394471815&type=3&theater

I want you to do my hair!!!!

      1. Danielle says:

That would be a long trip!

  67. Linda says:

I love the bikini competition idea. Have you also thought about what bikini’s you will be wearing?! I wanna see!! And about the curly hair, I seriously recommend you try to make them with a flat iron. I think you will achieve those curls a lot better, but it takes some time to actually get the hang of it because its a lot harder to use when comparing to a normal curling iron.. and your right, I think some extra hair extensions will give you that extra volume!!!

    GOOD LUCK!

  68. Leanne says:

Wow Cassey you look AMAZING!! This is so motivating to me! I’ve been wanting to tone up (actually by gaining some weight along the way) and get in shape – be happy and healthy again (which I blog about at the moment)! I just sometimes miss the motivation. Or I feel as if it will do me no good anyways.. which is RIDICULOUS! THANK YOU for showing me changes can be made and results can be seen somewhat fast 😉 I’ll keep pushing through myself, because Ey, we can’t let you do all the work on your own now can we ;-)?! <3
