If you'd like, please tweet @HayleySummer88 some bday wishes or even questions about her journey - I'm sure she'd love to hear from you guys.
It's so crazy to me still that Blogilates has sort of become a program, a free program, for people to use to get fit. I never imagined that when I first started out. I just wanted to post a video for my real life students to follow as I was moving across the country. You guys helped build the program actually...asking for meal plans, asking for more cardio videos...you made this yours. So thanks for molding me into a better instructor and for sculpting Blogilates into the perfect plan for you! I honestly don't have a business plan or whatever for Blogilates - I just kinda go with the flow and listen to you guys. You're my boss :)
I want to start featuring more and more of you on the blog, so if you have pictures and stories, please send them to [email protected] If you get featured, I'll be sure to take care of ya for sharing your story with us with some cool Blogilates swag :)
Have a Happy Hump Day!
PS...currently filming some vids for you and taking pics in the new train like a beast look like a beauty shirts! I think you're gonna love them!!!
I was shocked! THIS is amazing. THIS is dedication. And this was all done with drive, heart, sweat, and free YouTube vids. WOWZAAA!!! What a hottie!!! Enough of me talking, let's see what Ashley did to get that smokin' bod! ASHLEY'S INSPIRATIONAL STORY: Hey! I'm Ashley :) I've always been bouncing around from diet to diet and switching exercise programs so I wouldn't get bored. In the past, the most I was able to lose was about 10 pounds, but I would gain it right back. I became pretty unhappy with the way I looked and felt, so I started with cutting out all processed foods and sugars from my diet. That gave me a good start, but I still had a ways to go. Exercise was the only thing missing. I'm a stay at home mom with two kids, my husband works nights, and I'm a full time student, so going to the gym was pretty impossible. One day I just typed "cardio" into YouTube and BAM! There was Cassey! The first month I could only do one video a day and that was just doing the modified versions! Girl pushups :). Cassey really kept me motivated and her workouts never got boring! I wasn't doing the same workout over and over; there are so many to choose from! I will tell you, she's right about doing cardio in combination with her Pilates videos! Thanks for all your hard work and updated videos, Cassey. I feel AMAZING! My total weight loss is 40 POUNDS! I'm smaller now than I have ever been, and I bought a bikini for the first time in about 10 years! Now I'm able to do the cardio videos multiple times in a row, and I hardly ever need to do any modifications. You make it easy to squeeze in a workout no matter how busy I am! Your dedication is inspiring :). ASHLEY'S FAVE 3 BLOGILATES VIDS: My absolute NÚMERO UNO video of yours is the HIIT Food Baby! I get a leg workout and cardio at the same time! Second vid is bikini blaster booty booty booty. Third one is an older one but I looooove it! Perky butt and long lean legs! Bootie pat! A SNAPSHOT OF ASHLEY'S DAILY DIET: Breakfast: Coffee with coconut milk instead of creamer (no sugar, and I know coffee messes with your cortisol levels...but I have two kids under 2. No way I'm giving up coffee! :)) Cubed sweet potatoes, a few blackberries, and a kale omelette Lunch: Grilled chicken salad, a little guacamole as dressing Sliced tomato Snacks: Dried okra, dried zucchini chips, carrots, nuts (but not all at once! Just throughout the week) Dinner: Baked tilapia Sautéed asparagus Cauliflower rice (cauliflower in food processor until it looks like rice, then sauté with clarified butter and seasonings)
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH ASHLEY for sharing your story with us! You are truly an inspiration to the whole Blogilates Community and prove that with a strong, focused mind - anything can be achieved! You're a true POPstar!
If you have any questions for Ashley, you can tweet her at @TangeloFlavored (like tangelo the fruit!) I am sure she'd be more than happy to motivate you to work hard and eat well, just like she did, and still does!

I hope this inspires you to GO HARD this week. Remember, you gotta TRAIN INSANE OR REMAIN THE SAME.
Love from London,
Hey Cassey! It's Nikki, it was such an honor to meet you at the Blogilates meetup today in NYC! (I was the redhead with the ridiculously colorful shirt, haha.) You asked that I send you my story, and it would be my pleasure :) So here goes! I had always been on the chubby side growing up, but with the stress and pressure of entering high school my weight ballooned. By mid-junior year, my weight was at its highest and my esteem was at its lowest. I knew I wasn't happy, but I didn't feel I truly had the power to change - I would hit the treadmill for a week, then go to a party and gorge on cake and feel I had wrecked everything! The cycle went on for a few months, until I had a pretty embarrassing experience - I was jean shopping with a bunch of friends, when I realized none of the sizes in the store would fit me! The sales associate had to go in back to get the stretch-pants, and I was absolutely mortified (funny enough, I mentioned this incident to my friends a year later, and none of them even remembered it! Helps to put things in perspective.) Anyways, I needed something like that to really jolt me into taking getting healthy seriously. I had planned a trip to visit friends in NYC six weeks from then, so I set a short-term goal to be as healthy as possible up until that point and see what would happen. Lemme tell you, that first month was NOT easy - it was tough baking cupcakes with everyone and not eating them, or making time for the gym with my busy school schedule. Around the fifth week, I stumbled upon one of your videos (Inner thigh insanity!) and even in that ten minute clip, your optimism and positivity really inspired me. That night I must have watched a dozen of your videos, and you helped me to see fitness and eating clean as something fun and exciting, not as a painful chore. My mindset had to change before anything physical could change. After those first six weeks, I had already started to see some results, but more importantly I saw a dramatic increase in my mood - it's true when they say you are what you eat, and to this day I still think my favorite thing about eating clean is how energized and happy I feel when I have the right fuel in me! Anyways, I stuck with being healthy (and doing tons of blogilates videos!) throughout the rest of the school year and the summer, and the pounds continued to come off. By the first day of my senior year, I had lost 30 lbs, and I'll never forget that feeling walking into school and literally seeing my classmates' jaws drop. A few of them didn't even recognize me! My weight loss journey was a longer one, and it took the rest of the school year for me to eventually lose another 20 lbs, reaching my weight loss goal of just over 50 lbs in a year and a half :) Fast forward to present-day, I'm just finishing up my freshman year in college...still an avid POPster, and I've gotten the girls on my floor into blogilates too! It's become a nightly routine for us, and it's so much fun to sweat it out with friends. Getting healthy was BY FAR the best thing I have ever done for myself, my only reget is not doing it sooner. Not only do I have more confidence but my outlook on life completely changed, and I realized anything really is possible if you do it with enough passion! I never thought I would be the one with a success story, and it's still so humbling whenever anyone asks me for advice. Of course I never would have gotten here if not for all your incredible workouts and recipes! I can't thank you enough for all that you do, you are a true inspiration! I've attached my before and after picture (taken January 2011 and July 2012) and our picture from the meetup today (so cute!) Once again, thank you! Much love, Nikki Joseph
Nikki!!!! Today you are inspiring thousands of women across the world to live healthier lives and work hard for what they want. Not just for fit bodies but for passionate hearts too. Before I begin my story. I need to send out a huge thank you. My life has changed & I could not have done it without your help. ----------------------------------------------- My name is Allie. I'm 23 years old, born & raised in Norwalk, CT. I grew up playing sports and dancing. I was always muscular but, still overweight. I tried for years, through vigorous field hockey workouts, to lose weight because my Dad had been a diabetic and I knew it was in my future. After so many failing diets and underwhelming exercises I was introduced to Blogilates.
Late August 2012 I began my transformation. I googled Blogilates & found myself laying alone in my living room doing these crazy, random, YouTube videos on my phone! :) September came & I had already signed up to Blogilates.com! Within a week I received an email about some calendar called #SweatySeptember ... I ended up printing my calendar and I completed the entire thing. By the end of September I had lost 20lbs! I started to notice all of the shirts & sayings that inspired me. After losing the first 20lbs I found myself "eating clean". My regime was Low Salt; High Protein, all natural. I continued to follow each calendar, every month. With the encouragement and positivity throughout each video I gained self-confidence & my self-esteem was sky high! Since then, I have become a new person. I can proudly say I have lost 75 pounds in the last 7 months because Cassey got my butt off the couch! :) I finallly did Pilates with Cassey, in a studio, in NYC! Seven months ago, I would have collapsed after Call Me Maybe Squats.
I do not plan on ending this journey just yet. 75lbs down and I can easily imagine myself losing another 50! Thank you so very much for being the inspiration that gave me my start. Thank you for being my motivation throughout the last 7months. Thank you for being the encouragement I need to finish strong. #TrainInsaneOrRemainTheSame <3 Twitter: @alliemarie_ak47 Instagram: allie_marie_xo Email: [email protected]om Wow! Isn't that amazing? I know for alot of the other transformations I posted, you saw someone go from overweight to super fit. I felt it was really important to show someone who is in progress and in the midst of her journey. I'm so excited to see what Allie will do in the next several months and I will make sure to have her check in with us so we can see. Allie, you are amazing, girl! Keep going strong!!! You truly embody what it means to be a POPster. Love, Cassey If any of you want to share you story, please send to: [email protected]
It's time for another inspirational story from a fellow peer of yours. Today I want to share with you the story of an athlete who found a way to match her inner strength with her outer strength. Please meet Lashon!I then began to research free workout videos online when I didn’t have enough time in between assignments and classes to go to the gym. I stumbled across Cassey's POP Pilates videos and was shocked at how sore they made me! Now that’s coming from a thrower who lifts and runs at least 6 times a week! After doing a couple pilates videos I noticed a change in the muscle that I was forming. I was becoming more lean and toned and this had a major impact on my track and field performance. Pilates helped in my throwing technique for shot-put and discus becauseI had gained balance in my body. This present track season I began doing running events as well as throwing and now run at least 3 miles a day. I didn’t have a clue about Pilates until Cassey's videos and they were my saving grace. I knew getting fit would be difficult but I greatly underestimated the impact that it has on your mind, body AND soul. During this past winter break I did Blogilates videos religiously and began to love my body, a feeling I thought I would never have towards it. Reading Cassey's blog posts about the importance of being mentally in tune with your body really pushed my thinking. Comparing myself to others who have not gone through the same transformation just didn't make sense. I decided that this is the body that I have and I am proud of how far I have come in my fitness journey. I love my tiger stripes (stretch marks) and my loose skin because it is a testimony to my achievement of ultimate health and fitness. I have lost about 65 pounds overall and it has been one hell of a journey. I am still working on the self-love part of my journey but Cassey definitely made it so much easier to see that although I am not stick thin, nor ever will be, that I am beautiful and that with determination and hard work I can achieve my own personal greatness.

"Final day of #PIIT28 and #PIITSTAGRAM! Wow what a trip it's been!
I never thought I'd be able to shed all this weight that's accumulated from all the bad eating and lack of cardio, but here we are. I've lost weight before, but I've never had so many people tell me they notice a big change in my appearance. I've never had people go out of their way to compliment my body. I always thought I'd just be a bit chubby and that was OK. I learned to accept that.
I started this workout series not because I wanted to lose weight, but because I wanted to support Cassey and her hard work and improve my health. I truly never expected such big change and I can honestly say I look forward to round 2...and 3 and 4 and however many rounds there will be!
I love looking in the mirror and seeing myself as a strong person. I see muscles I never thought I'd see and definition I never knew was possible for my body. But most importantly, piit taught me that there's always time and energy for a 30 min workout and that to me is the biggest success because if I don't workout consistently I have to endure health issues that so far have only been prevented or avoided by working out.
Thank you Cassey for such an amazing workout plan and not to mention amazing meal plan! I'm always well fed and my cravings are nonexistent. #piitprincess for life!"
Meet Brina, @fitbribri
"Last day of #piit28 is here! I've noticed huge changes in my body. My abs are tighter, my waist is smaller, my arms are stronger, and my confidence has improved! In terms of abs, mine were probably looking better last week since I've been a bit bloated recently, but looking at these two pictures side-by-side is so encouraging! I can't believe that I've improved so much in only 28 days! I've lost around 10 lbs since I first starting working out in January and I'm down maybe 5 lbs from Cassey's program. Now it's time to gain it all back in muscle!"Meet Jordan, @popster_jordan Day 28: The last day of PIIT. How bittersweet. I have accomplished so much in these last 28 days and my journey is far from over, this is only the beginning. I can see a difference in myself. I have lost 13 lbs and 15.5 total inches, but I have gained much more than that. I have gained better posture, a happier mood, huge confidence in myself, a new found love of my body and deep appreciation for what I am capable of doing. I know I have a ways to go but PIIT gave me the tools and the courage to keep going. PIIT gave me my life back! I finished #PIIT28 and I am a #piitprincess!
Meet Katie, @katie.piit28
"Today is the final day of the challenge! This past month really has flown by. I'm so surprised by my results, especially since I wasn't following a meal plan or counting macros or anything. I tried to mostly eat clean, but I would have a couple treat meals a week (still all vegan though). I feel so much stronger and am able to do better at each workout. I plan to restart the program from the beginning. Who else is restarting the program? . ? Good luck to everyone after this challenge! Let's continue to support each other."
Meet Mackenzie, @Mackenzie.r.richardson
"Before pic on the left, after on the right. Can't believe it's been one month already! I've lost 8 lbs, I've definitely lost inches. Clothes fit me completely differently. My favorite change is how strong I feel. I never thought I'd be able to successfully do mountain climbers or plank jacks, but now I can. I also have way more energy throughout the day. Great job to everyone who completed PIIT and transformed themselves! Can't wait to start round 2 April 1st and see how much more we all change!"Meet Caitie, @caitie.did "Day 28 of #PIIT28! I guess my abs have come out of hiding a little, but I’d like to share the things I have gained that are NOT abs: 1) Increased happiness (Cardio makes me happy, Pilates makes me happy, and combining the two has made me ecstatic) 2) Improved stamina (I promise that 4 minutes of jumping lunges have gone from being actual torture to actual fun) 3) A fulfilling sense of accomplishment (I did all 28 days!) 4) Improved posture (Which is not evidenced by this awkward selfie that I had to crouch in order to take in the TV lounge this morning ) 5) New, inspiring friends in other #PIITSTAGRAMMERS! (Thanks for your support) I have confidence that these 5 gains are going to remain, even if my abs go back into hiding in 5 days or 5 minutes from now. Thanks @blogilates for this awesome way to challenge myself physically and mentally." Meet Jen, @insta_jen77 "Day 28! Here's my before & after for #PIIT28! I know the physical changes aren't huge but I've made amazing progress with my endurance and stamina. I can feel the difference much more than you can see it here. I've really enjoyed this challenge and I'm looking forward to Round 2! I'm especially excited about adding some extra ab work & body weight work into the mix! Big thank you to Cassey (@blogilates) & the entire #Blogifam For creating such a quick, effective and fun workout! Now let's go crush the next 4 weeks!" Meet Raelyn, @rae.fit15 "Day 28: Progress Pics. I can't believe we made it! Honestly when I started this 28 days ago there was a part of me that thought I wasn't going to be able to finish, that I would get bored and just stop. I am so proud of myself for finishing though because I feel STRONGER, more CONFIDENT, and just HAPPIER! When I look at my before and after pictures, I mostly see some ab definition and better posture!! Of course the real gain from this journey is mentally because I know I can finish something if I put my mind to it. Also if something is hard at the time, the result will feel great!!! I have loved being part of the blogilates community and I plan to keep posting on here with my journey through PIIT 28 round 2!!! I have loved watching everyone's progress and the support is absolutely amazing! Thank you @blogilates for something I now look forward to everyday!" Meet Meggie, @popstermarie "#PIIT28 and 28-day reset results! I'd say it went pretty well :) I feel stronger for sure, but I definitely feel wiser too. I've never gone loner than five hours "eating clean" before because I could get away with eating practically anything since I'm so active. Sustaining healthy habits over a long stretch of time has taught me that it's possible to have continuous energy all day long. I seriously had no idea it was possible to feel like this!" Meet Amy, @algeorge14 "Last day of the #piit28 #PIITSTAGRAM challenge!! Definitely a bittersweet day, BUT, Round 2 is just around the corner. Who's signing up?! So my results are a little cray but I feel great! I've lost a total of 6.5 inches all over my body. Now that might be startling to some people who know me. I never had weight to lose to start...But hold on my friend, I weighed myself yesterday at Dads & I'm 116lbs (normal weight) so the only possible explanation for my inch loss is FAT loss & muscle GAIN! And that's exactly what Cassey said this program would do! My strength has 150% increased. I remember the first week doing mountain climbers. I had to slow down halfway through. Now I can push through 4 rounds at a steady pace. It most definitely does NOT get easier, you just get better. I'm also impressed with my burpees. I know I've increased the amount each week! I think my PR is 11 per 45 seconds but I want to do even better next round! The moves I hated the most were: surfers, squat hops, plie hops & tuck jumps. My goal this round is to improve on these moves! My cardio has always sucked & PIIT is definitely helping. Long gone are the days of spending hours at the gym. PIIT is where it's at!! As for my diet, I followed the 28 Day Reset meal plan pretty darn close. You can't expect to get great results if you're just half a**ing it (to put it bluntly). HOWEVER, I allowed myself treats that fit the meal plan guidelines. Initially my body wasn't used to all of this food, esp. the protein. It was difficult to eat it all. Now I feel like I can always eat. I've realized I've been undereating in the past & this was actually hurting me. Your body can adapt to all of the extra food & use it efficiently as fuel!! Never EVER under fuel. I'm kicking myself a little bit. But lesson learned. I now know how to treat my body correctly thanks to @blogilates." ***** WOW. All of these girls ROCK!!!! Notice how all of them talked about how much STRONGER and HAPPIER they each felt. Reading these captions made my heart so warm and my smile so big!! Because that was the REAL reason why I developed PIIT28 for myself to begin with. To find my balance and to find my happiness again :)
This is Theresa 23 weeks apart in her earned-not-bought PIIT28 tank. She's like a totally different person!CASSEY: I want to hear more about feeling stronger mentally. I feel like there's an underlying story here... THERESA: I have had anxiety for a long time and it's something I have always fought to handle without medication. PIIT28 grounds me, it relieves stress and any anxious feelings I may get. I used to get depressed a lot because of my weight and the way I looked. I know first hand how that is...it's like a spiraling black hole that never ends. But since joining this community, I feel like I'm no longer trapped in side this hole. There's less tension, less anxiousness. I get to see others in different stages of their journeys, I sympathize with their struggles and then I realize that it's not just me! It really helps to connect with other people. PIIT28 really made me so much happier and healthier! I finally have a better relationship with my body. CASSEY: What's your "power phrase" for when you're about to give up? THERESA: I CAN and WILL do this. I am strong and nothing can tear me down. This is for me. CASSEY: What's a typical daily meal plan look like for you now? THERESA:
