Hey guys!

Happy Monday!! I hope you had a lovely weekend. Here in LA we’ve been rattled with another earthquake! These scare me so much but so far everyone I know is safe. As a kid, I always wondered “What would be the best place to live with the least natural disasters?” I suppose it would be somewhere away from the coast right? But then again, inland you get the tornados! And those seem REALLY SCARY.

On that note…as a kid I also wondered what would happen if I ever became homeless (yea, I don’t know why I thought about these things) and I told myself that I would like to situate by the beach so I could take showers at the public shower stalls. Did you ever think of anything weird like that as a kid? I guess I was prepping my own survival just in case.

Anyway!!

Your new video today is a little different. It is a whole Low Back Pain Stretch routine. You may not know this but I started getting low back pain in college. I think it had to do with my book bag. Back then backpacks were soooooo not in style so I carried my Bio book, my Chem book, and my Calculus book all in my bag that was being held up by my right shoulder. I did that for 4 years! So I have uncomfortable numbness sometimes in my lower right back if I sit too long or stand too long without moving even today.

Obviously Pilates has strengthened my core and I know my back pain could be worse if I wasn’t practicing! But, it is important to stretch the muscles and release the tension for the back if you’ve been stationary for too long. I know for a fact that this is a problem for people sitting at their desks working on their comps. I’m guilty too. So get up after you read this post and do the routine! The best part is…it FEELS GOOD and it’s EASY. You won’t be sweating, you’ll be relaxing and relieving yourself of back tension.

    • That’s strange.. I just typed in “blogilates” and it found it right away?

    • Depends on the apple product you’re using, if you have iOS 6 or below i dont think you can get the app. X

    I have the last week or so followed a enterily new video, where you trained arms and back. I loved it SO much, but now it just seemed to have dissapeared. It was a new serie of a kind named something with “fit”. It was also filmed a bit differently than you normally do (in a new and good way).

    Do you know which one im talking about, and how I can find it again?

    • That’s on Lionsgate BeFit’s channel :) She has about 4 videos so far in that series, it isn’t her channel though.

  3. since you asked…weird things i thought about as a kid:

    there were train tracks on my bus stop that no trains stopped on, but if you walked about 8 miles on them you would get to a train station where you could take an hour long train ride to new york city. i used to think about one day just walking to the station (or maybe just walking to the city since they might not sell a kid a ticket. i didn’t know you bought them from a machine) and roughing it in the city by myself

    the other more ridiculous thing i used to think about a lot was my responsibility for repopulating the earth in the event of a nuclear holocaust. in the sixth grade i read a few too may cold war era sci fi novels and i developed this weird fantasy about it that stayed with me pretty much until i lost my virginity at 15. my hormones were clearly raging l because i thought all the time about if there was a nuclear holocaust, i would be required to have sex with the one (obviously hot) man left on the planet with me. would also daydream in class and couple people off in the classroom, in the event that only the people in the class would survive

  4. My problem is I have the password, but it is not accepting. Several attempts, restarting my browser, nothing. This has happened in past months. I like having each day’s videos together, and I hate having to scroll through YouTube to find the videos and will end up not bothering. Anyone else have this happen to them?

    After last #MightyMarch workout, my calves are still burning like hell. Really love that pain and welcome it. You always say us to tell our wishes – and there’s mine – some calves stretches video. Realy need something effective to strech them. Thank you, all positive energy and hugs to you!

    Rest easy, I am pretty sure that if you are thinking about taking showers that disqualifies you from ever being homeless! I understand though, have had the same thoughts myself. Except I happen to really enjoy earthquakes…

    I know this month is gonna be really good but next month could we mayb do a one month till a better booty? I’m naturally pear shaped and I know many ladies with the curvy booties would appreciate a calendar that really helps them meet their booty goals. Love you and your workout <3

  13. Because of your rigorous workouts with pop pilates my curvature in my scoliosis decreased! Not only that, I was becoming really flexible too! Gah! I’m super excited for this month :D

    Thanks for the back stretch video, Cassey!!! I have scoliosis and even with my practice I have chronic back pain, especially in my low right side (my mattress probably doesn’t help).

    I get lots of pain in my knees sometimes (even with trying to maintain really good form, perhaps I’m just engaging in too many lower body exercises throughout the week) and recurring tendonitis in my right wrist – would love to see a vid or advice on training well with these joint issues! <3

    • Thank you. I don’t think it’s right that so many people don’t get the newsletter on time. It shuld be sent out at least 3 days ahead of time that way we know everyone has it and is ready to start the month. Otherwise you have people getting it weeks in and then they’re already behind, that’s not fair.

    Thanks for the calendar! I thought for sure we would have the Pop HIITS this month. I sort of miss them in a weird way, but I’m glad we get to work out to your videos everyday!

    As far as natural disasters, I live in New Mexico and we don’t have hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, or even heavy snow or rain. We’re just in a drought most of the time.

  21. For eating, I am being very strict this month: Raw with one non-raw meal a week on the weekends! I will not be totally following the calendar but will do some of the workouts to supplement my other workouts. I am doing circuit every afternoon, T25 in the morning and a 10 minute run almost everyday. In addition, I will throw in Blogilates when I have time!!

  26. Lower back stretching was just what I needed. Feeling quite some pain there from too much (wrong) standing due to a still improvable body posture. Also love to crack my spine, it feels soo good!!

    What I’d also love to see is a stretch-routine focusing on the glutes.

  28. I’ve just started the beginner’s calendar so I won’t be doing #AprilAbs, but I’m still so excited to get into blogilates! I’ve always been a dancer so I never needed to work out since fitness was built into my hobby, but now that I’ve stopped dancing I’m so glad to have found blogilates! It’s also very inspiring to me to see such a strong and successful Asian woman I can look up to! :)

The one you get when you pay the $0.99 and subscribe to the app. I”ve had the app now for about 2-3 months, but every time a new month comes around, I lose the video and can’t find it. I don’t want to lose this month’s Spring Bikini Sculpt. I really liked it, and last month’s too.

  40. Unfortunately, my recovery day has to be on Sunday as I get up really early then and need to take a nap in the afternoon. But the calendar looks really cool otherwise! I’ll just switch out Fridays for Sundays.

    As for what area would get the least natural disasters, actually, here in west Michigan we don’t get many. We don’t get earthquakes, tornadoes (maybe on rare occasion) or hurricanes. We do have flooding on occasion and lotsa snow in the winter if the weather cycle is right. And all 4 seasons! Plus, we still have awesome beaches for summer with awesome dunes to climb! :) It’s kinda nice. Though, I’d like to think as a warm weather lover myself that I’d enjoy California quite a lot.

    My mom recently started with the weight watchers program and so we eat what she eats.
    Do you think it’s a decent replacement for Cassey’s meal plans?
    Somebody who has experience with the weight watchers program?

    • Hi! The weight watchers program is a great plan. It allows you to eat whatever you like in moderation. While the weight watchers program is different than Cassey’s meal plans, her’s incorporate clean eating, you will still see major results if you stick to the program. I have had many friends and family members who have lost weight on weight watchers in a safe and healthy way. Making “clean” substitutions in your regular eating habits will still allow you to follow the weight watchers program if you want to get the best of both worlds.

    • hiii =) I would have to say that the weight watchers program IS good but you aren’t really eating clean, basically you are eating much smaller amounts of the food that you would normally eat. If your mum is a beginner then i would say this is great for her but in the future( after she has finished the program) she may want to look at just trying to eat healthy without effort, hope this helped =)

  42. Hey, I’m just wondering, will this calendar be good for sculpting my legs? I really want nice thighs and a bum, so should I add anything in addition to this calendar as this only trains them once a week? Thanks!

    Oh and I used to think that when I became a teenager and if i couldntafford to buy my own makeup I’d go into boots and use the testers as my own before a party or something :D

  43. Oh and I used to think about how I would deal with being homeless as well! My ideas were a bit less realistic though, I planned on sneaking in and living in a department store.
