Today I wanted to share with you a motivational story from one of our POPsters, Hayley, who worked her butt off to achieve a slammin’ bod and sparkling confidence. I was astonished at the transformation picture she tweeted me and just had to let you guys hear her story! Through clean eating, working out, and pure drive she’s transformed her inside and outside…please read:

Hi, I’m Hayley! I’m 24 and I admit I am an official Blogilates addict. 

I guess I am always someone who has been completely out of shape, the thought of exercising was always just a no no for me. I tried the gym and always felt like people were watching me and I just kept quitting with home workouts because I found them BORING!! I actually remember finding your videos online googling crazy but fun workouts, and one of your youtube vids came up. I watched it and I was like OMG that girl is insane, and to be honest I was super jealous of you!! But it made me think that maybe I could do it as well.

I was at my highest weight of 160lbs and I just wanted to change it. I started following your blog and sticking to your workout calendar I did every video until I knew each word that was going to come out of your mouth, yet I never wanted to mute you. I’m proud to say before I could not do one pushup, and now I can rock them out with you! And also the first time I did your Bikini Blaster workout you actually made me throw up as well. I made it my goal to stick with your workouts and reach my goal by my 24th birthday which was just two days ago.

Sometimes you made my body want to cry I must admit, but you always kept me motivated and focusing on the end goal!! I am now at my lowest weight ever of 125lbs and nothing feels better than being able to put on a bikini and feel beautiful for the first time! I put a few pics on here just because I LOVE THEM and I never thought I would say that!

So thank you so much for making the videos and just being there, because I am truly a new person ♥

Thanks Hayley for being a dynamic part of the Blogilates Community!!! You are a true inspiration to all of us and I commend you for your rock solid drive (oh and rock solid abs while we’re at it.) I am so sorry I made you throw up!!! I haven’t ever thrown up from working out so I guess I have never pushed myself as hard as you have! Be careful – but at least you know the extreme and you know your limits now.

Hayley is a perfect example of what a focused, driven game plan can result in. Even though her physical transformation is stunning, I am not featuring her for her weight loss. I am featuring her because she was able to create that mind-body connection and push push push through tough times to get where she wanted to be. She set a goal, kept her vision close and didn’t let anything get in her way. When people email me and say “Cassey, I want to lose weight but I’m not motivated,” I always say the same thing. “If you want something bad enough, you will figure out how to make it happen.” Hayley definitely figured it out.

It’s so crazy to me still that Blogilates has sort of become a program, a free program, for people to use to get fit. I never imagined that when I first started out. I just wanted to post a video for my real life students to follow as I was moving across the country. You guys helped build the program actually…asking for meal plans, asking for more cardio videos…you made this yours. So thanks for molding me into a better instructor and for sculpting Blogilates into the perfect plan for you! I honestly don’t have a business plan or whatever for Blogilates – I just kinda go with the flow and listen to you guys. You’re my boss :)

    Although this is very old, I really wish you would do your research before putting up these success stories. It took me around 15 minutes to figure out that this is a complete fake. “Hayley” has deleted both her twitter account, and her gmail account. Upon searching the pictures on google images, I found that the first set of pictures is from a girl named Elaine on Myfitnesspal. While I couldn’t find a match for the second before picture, the after picture towards the bottom of the page belongs to a woman named Catherine who has a blog. It is incredibly sad if you really did end up sending this girl a gift because she is a total fake.

  4. just do the workouts and you will get a flat stomach. Trust me, it happened to me already after only 2 months of workouts.

    The first picture with the blue and pink bikinis is not Hayley. I recognized the pictures from my MyFitnessPal friend Eliane. She has since deleted her MFP profile, but several other progress pictures of her are still on the message board forums under the username elianexox.

    Please don’t worry about a thing. I promise, you are beautiful already and at the perfect weight. If you’re this focused on being skinnier, and you even think you /may/ have any disordered eating, PLEASE GET HELP. I know it’s embarrassing to talk to your parents about things like this, but it will really change your life, in a good way. It will help you understand that your body is perfect.

    Please, honey, trust me. You’re in one of the best years of your life. Don’t waste it worrying about losing weight.

  7. This is one of the reasons why I want Blogilates to be my PE trainer. I hate PE at my school. Its just so BORING! Same moves and games over and over and over again… Nobody wants to do it and our currant trainer won’t let us do anything else. Always ether way football or volleyball… ALWAYS. It is really annoying. BUT blogilates has different routines every single day if you follow her monthly workout plans. It is always fun to exercise with her and reading motivational stories like this, makes me wanna work out as hard as I can and move forward. THANKS!

  8. hi casey! how did you lose so much weight? I am kind of suffering from anorexia yet i don’t seem to be losing weight. I am 13 and 115 lbs but as you said, numbers don’t define me, I just want to be skinnier. How did you do it? Which videos did you watch?

  10. definitely, I really wish that blogilates was our PE lesson, seriously if i love it(and i hate pe) i’m sure loads of people in my year would love it too. It would also mean that after school i had time for homework and revision. The joys of being in year 11.

  11. She must of worked so hard to get where she is now, freaking AMAZING job Hayley. Way to show us how it’s done:)) >> Can’t believe how fantastically fit you look. I’m 16, and my HW. was 165-170. I never really put myself down, put going into high school made me realize that I had to after the things I want and work hard for them. So I dropped down to 120 lbs. It took a long time, but it was worth it. I had a weight fluctuating on 115-125 for a couple of months, then decided to throw away the scale. Numbers don’t define us, and my weight didn’t matter to me anymore. I’ve been lifting weights for almost 2 years now and I try to work out almost everyday. I just recently found Cassey’s videos actually, and got her app. I’ve done 6 videos so far and I’m in love with it so here I am.

    I love stories like this! They motivate me and let me know that I can do it if I stick with it. I turned 30 a few months ago and it seems like my metabolism is slowing down so I have started the beginner’s workout to remove some of this stomach and thigh fat haha. I have never been over weight in my life and want to keep myself from getting there. I am so happy for this girl though! She did an awesome job! She looks great!

  13. Wow this is amazing! Truly an inspiration to everybody no matter what weight! I love blogilates so much its amazing and i have a thigh gap after doing the thigh gap video like 4 times and its amazing! The first time I did that video which was the first video i ever did I was struggling and couldn’t finish and now im stronger than ever and can you all you videos properly! Thank you so much Cassey, I love you and tell all my friends about you! Train insane or remain the same, and abbs are made in the gym but shown in the kitchen!

  16. No matter how many times I try and watch other YT workout videos or even regular DVDs I still prefer to watch you Cassey! Hope you don’t mind I make my own Blogilates DVDs from them – Custom Workouts! Your bubbly personality is so encouraging and motivating! I also like that your workouts get harder, but you still have some that are easy enough that I can direct my friends here! Your recipes are a HUGE help and I hope to see more of them in the future as well! Thanks to your recipes I was able to realize eating clean wasn’t “gross” or less tasty! I feel fantastic, I never had so much energy in my life (AND I gave up caffeine!) and I can’t wait to post my before and after pics when I reach my goal!!!

    I can so relate to Hailey. I just started doing blogilates yesterday.
    I printed out the workout calender and took a picture of myself I my underwear.
    And it looks almost exactly like Hailey’s before picture. It’s so great to see

  33. O-M-G! You are my super-duper-motivational GODDESS!! ;p Excuse my dellirium, but I’ve been caught off guard when I clicked on “inspirational stories” button a while ago and read this page..! That’s what happens when you have a goal and you commit yourself in achieving it. You look soooooooo GREAT and HEALTHY.I’m so inspired and motivated by your whole transformation, that I even made my own workout plan for the next three weeks (like a little kid I filled my so-called exercise notebook with colours and stickers to make it more appealing!! hehe) and I’m challenging myself to follow it without excuses. Also, the fact that I’m only a few pounds lighter than what you were before you started blogilates and that your current weight is my goal weight for life, made me more eager and confindent that I can do it too. I want to thank you for letting us know your story and giving us such a huge motivational kick in the butt!!! :p I know that more or less you followed Cassie’s workout programs and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past week. But I was wondering if you could tell me what videos you did in order to achieve your goal, whether there were times you wanted to give up and what made you keep going.

    I want to transform myself too. I haven’t to lose weight but I really need to tone my body. I want to put on a bikini and feel beautiful as you. In the last years I tried many different workouts, but nothing gave me the results I’m still looking for. I would like to know what is your daily routine, I don’t know what videos to do or how to alternate them. I really don’t know. There’s a lot of videos but I don’t know how to use them.     Clean eating is eating unprocessed foods (ie you should be able to pronounce all the ingredients in the product you are buying, and it shouldn’t have any preservatives)

    Dear Cassey, I am 17 and I am 185lbs, yes I am totally obese but standing tall of 164cm. So I was thinking would all the pilates be okay for me to do, I tried doing one of the abs and thighs videos, its really hard to put my legs up straight, but I am trying my very best to keep it straight. Train like a beast or stay the same , right! Can’t wait to send my pictures!

  72. Wow! Great results! This is so inspiring, and not just in the way most transformations are. The reason it’s been so hard for me to lose weight is because I always have this feeling like it’s all or nothing, like I have to go for extremes (doing extreme workouts 6 days a week) to get results. I’ve always wondered if I can get results simply from following an online fitness channel alone (cause those are always my fav). I’ve always doubted it though just because it has always seemed ‘too good’ to be true and I end up getting discouraged. This is very motivating though and I’m definitely going to change the way I think about workouts. I’m going to keep up a good workout schedule but I’m going to make sure I get in some fun blogilates workouts as much as possible (: I’m going to keep pictures for progress too!

    Happy Birthday! So proud of your determination and hard work! As others have said it was EXACTLY what I needed at JUST the right time. I love my job but it’s been a rough few weeks of work. Yesterday, after 11 hours, I was wiped out. I found myself mindlessly snacking on the couch and could not get motivated to put on my workout clothes, much less actually workout! Of course, the guilt crept in…my mind kept telling me to do at least the “What Make You Bootyful Butt Challenge” but my booty was making the decisions last night and it wanted to stay planted. I was dragging again this morning and then saw your story! I put my work away for a little while and made the conscious decision to focus on ME for a little while. I have to keep that top of mind…make time for myself! Thanks Hayley for your inspiring story! Cassey, I’m so thankful I found you and your wonderful community! I’ve lost 21 pounds so far and have about 40 more to go so would love to see more of these stories in the future! Cheers!

    Secondly, Cassey girl you really know how to work a sista! LOL
    I am 41 and I had a son 3 years ago. I’m still working on dropping 30lbs. I lost weight before with pilates, walking and eating right. This time has been a lil harder but I am convinced that your Blogilates will do the trick. Can’t wait to send you pics:)

    I agree Hayley I have never done pilates before but I hurt my shoulder from doing weight training and I still needed to keep focused, so I googled pilates and found Cassey’s site.     I was always in pretty decent shape, and then I turned 25 and my metabolism decided to shut off or something. The weight just piled on so easily! At present, I’m 27 years old, 5’0 and weigh 145lbs (eep!). I gave myself a realistic deadline of my 29th birthday to get back in shape. I wanna look amazing before I turn 30 lol!

    I agree that Blogilates is just easy to stick to. Gyms got boring and I never really knew what to do. Other home workouts were repetitive and didn’t feel as effective and the instructors were irritating. I’ve been doing Blogilates for a couple of weeks now, and I’m already seeing some inches coming off! I haven’t thrown up, but I still wheeze and curse every time I do the workouts LOL! I’m sure they’ll get easier as I keep going ;)

    After reading your story, I am even more motivated that this is going to work for me. I turn 28 in 2 months, so I may be halfway to my goal by then and not have to wait until my 29th bday!

Thank you also to Cassey for all of your killer, yet very motivating workout videos.=] Even if I only see you through my computer screen, I don’t think I’ve ever done a workout with an instructor whose charisma lifts my spirits and determination so much and makes me WANT to do my best!=] I have also seen some results from doing your videos, both physically and mentally. And I can’t believe this was the post for today because I was just thinking earlier of posting my before/”during” picture to the Blogilates FB page! I’m still working on losing fat & gaining muscle so I’m not quite as far as Hayley, but I’m still super proud of the progress I’ve made from clean eating & literally no other workouts besides your videos! Cassey, I feel like I should say it every day- thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do! I’m the same as Hayley when it comes to the gym- I always feel like people are watching me and thinking, “That girl doesn’t know what she’s doing.” Even though I’m working towards ignoring thoughts like that, I just have so much fun doing your workouts (even when I’m dying, I’m having fun) that I can’t imagine switching it for the gym with all those machines and random people. Maybe one day I’ll be more comfortable in that setting, but I love having Blogilates as my number one fitness tool :) You keep me motivated and inspired every single day & I seriously wish I could thank you in person! We’re on opposite coasts of the country right now but maybe one day you’ll venture down south close to my area :) Your positivity is just infectious and I love spreading it!     Yes 4 months!!! Trust me I was way more surprised than you, I never stuck to anything like this before. Exactly what you said, eating clean and following Cassey’s plan! I think I only had like 2 days when I skipped my workout, and I just didn’t let it knock me back! It started off being really hard for me, as I said when I first started one of the workouts literally made me sick! But call me crazy, I still wanted to keep going!! PoPPilates is my addiction!

  130. I can’t believe how far you’ve made it! You look absolutely stunning.

    I just lost 31lbs (same as you – from 161 – 130) starting with a fun bet between myself and my dad that I couldn’t even lose 10lbs! Now I’m just looking to tone up because I feel like I’ve still got a ways to go but seeing this definitely adds to my motivation.

  148. Hey Cassey! I really enjoyed reading about this beautiful transformation! Today was the first day that I put on my bikini(motivation piece), and I felt GOOD about it! I always had doubts and body image issues, but you have helped me through it! I went outside and tanned, and almost took pics of my newly tanned skin and toned body, because I am SO HAPPY of the results that pop Pilates has given me! I’ve been working out and trying to tone up for the longest time, and nothing has worked as effective as Pilates and your Cardio videos have! I even started a blog about my new lifestyle :)

    and THANK YOU SO MUCH CASSEY! i am right there with Haley…i don’t do the gym, and home workouts were always so boring, and instead of working out, i would just laugh and make fun of the people making the videos.
    But YOU CASSEY, have changed me! i look forward to your new videos! and your personality and attitude are infectious! I LOVE IT and i love laughing WITH you while i’m doing pilates :)

    Last year i was at 160 also, but started walking. I did my first 5k in October. I was disappointed when a 50-year old co-worker with 5 children finished WAYYYY before me. In December, i stumbled upon Blogilates. And I am now at my lowest weight, 135, since high school, ten years ago… with two kids. I am so excited for my upcoming reunion!!! I recently completed a five mile run in a relay marathon and i kept up with ol’ 50 ;)
    I am soooo proud of where i am now, and you have no idea how excited i am that YOU were a major part of it :) you made me love exercising
