As you all know by now, the POP Pilates DVD was filmed yesterday. Sorry I did not talk about it but I felt like if I did that I would jinx it. I remember saying that for my Australia trip, and when I got there, mother nature was being very mean and would not let the filming run its course. Filming outdoors isn’t as simple as you would think…
Anyway! I want to share some pics with you from yesterday!
This was my cam crew. Look familiar? It’s Daddio and Mommio! When it came down to it, I felt like it was better to invest in learning new skills together while working with more advanced equipment. I felt like it was a waste of money to hire a crew that may not even shoot it in the style that I wanted – so the parentals stepped in and took charge :) I’ll be editing the footage myself as I always do. There’s just a personality that shines through with the slightest editing techniques. It’s a Ho Family Production!
I am so happy my parents now know what YouTube is and ask me if I’m gonna Instagram the protein pancake I just made. They are getting educated in social media and I love it!
A shot of me side planking from the shoot!
Taking a break to check emails, facebook, and YouTube…(I am lost without my laptop!)
Here’s me looking out from the balcony of the house overlooking the San Francisco Bay Area. For those of you wondering, no this is not my house…I wish it was though!
Attempting to side plank, but it looks like a break dance move.
And finally, I wanna take this moment to say HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to my dad who according to this pic is #1 and I’m #2….Oh jeez…I told him to hold up a peace sign but he had other messages he wanted to portray. Hahahah.
It’s been quite a full circle with my parents. If you guys have read my About Me, you’d know that my parents wanted me to be a doctor really badly back when I was in college. I ended up graduating with honors in Biology but when it came down to it, I chose to veer from the medical path and it really upset them. I will talk more about the actual story on my second blog when the time comes to start that. Anyway, things were really rocky, like really really, but today our relationship has healed. It took time and understanding from both sides, but now, we are much much better!
So thank you parents for filming my DVD…without you I’d have POPsters yelling for days why I haven’t made one yet! And thank YOUUU POPsters for pushing me consistently! This video is for YOU! I made it super good. Jam packed with all of your fave moves. I know you will love it! In fact, you’ll love it so much that you’ll DIE.
Just kidding. But really – it is THAT hard. I died after filming the 1 hour workout.
But hey, that’s how we do here on Blogilates! You gotta TRAIN INSANE or remain the same right?!
Have a fab weekend and do something good for your dad! Love you guys! Get ready for an INNER THIGH Challenge on late Sunday/early Monday. What song? You’ll find out :)
