Mushroom Marinara Spaghetti with Miracle Noodles

Yummy yummy yummy! This is what I had for lunch today. It literally look less than 5 min to make.

– 3-4 white button mushrooms sliced

– 3-4 tablespoons of marinara sauce

– 1 pack of zero calorie Miracle Noodle Fettucine

– a ton of sriracha hot sauce (but that’s just me)

This meal was less than 100 calories. Filled me up!!!

(Disclaimer: if you’re looking to lose weight or cut down on cals, these shirataki noodles are great filler uppers for the stomach. Volume wise it will get you full on no cals. But if you are at a healthy weight and don’t mind calories and nutrition, feel free to eat 100% whole wheat pasta!)

  1. Get a julienne peeler or a spiralizer and make noodles out of zucchini!

  2. This “miracle noodle” is made of glucomannan — which is very likely could be from wood fiber. I have never seen this product, but I looked up glucomannan and it is a hemicellulose — something that is found in the wood of trees (conifers). Also roots, corn stalks, etc.

Eat a whole grain pasta that is high in omega 3’s, that is better for you than wood fibers.

  3. I’m a college student and I have a very limited budget. Is there anything that can replace these and are still really healthy?

  4. Georgia says:

if your lunch is less than or equal to 100cals, are you eating under 1200 calories per day? thats dangerous right?

    • That’s if you’re eating only 3 square meals but in the blogilates diet, it’s 5 mini meals and you can snack on a bit of higher calorie foods so it’s all good :)

  5. i have a problem where I live in a country that doesn’t sell miracle noodle what replacement you recommend ?? :)
