I used Sprouted 100% Whole Wheat
I made the avocado bread and it tastes amazing! Very moist and extremely dense. I can barely taste the avocado at all though. I ended up using sprouted 100% whole wheat flour instead of regular whole wheat flour since I have been reading so much about Ezekiel Bread (around $3.99-$4.89). The flour was $3.99/lb at Whole Foods.
Sitting here now and thinking…it will probably be easier to just buy the sprouted bread. It took about 1.5 hrs from start to finish. Wouldn’t say I saved money by making it, but it was fun and very fulfilling for the soul. So I say, give it a shot. This is my first time ever making bread from scratch. Try it!
